Steinel Ammunition Co. Receives Large Ammo Contract to Load Inceptor ARX Bullets

Twinsburg, Ohio (Ammoland.com) – Steinel Ammunition Co., manufacturers of American-made premium self-defense, hunting, and target ammunition, is pleased to announce their partnership with one of the largest ammunition makers to provide rounds of their most advanced Inceptor ARX projectiles. Steinel Ammunition is initially producing 45 Colt Lever Action UMI ARX, 450 Bushmaster ARX, and 458 SOCOM ARX for Inceptor. Steinel Ammo’s new facility in Northeastern Ohio, is capable of producing their premium ammo lines, as well as producing rounds for other companies, delivering on their promise of exceptional accuracy and performance.

The ARX projectile is injection molded using a specially blended copper-polymer matrix designed to easily penetrate soft tissue that is also tough on bone and provides excellent knockdown power. The distinctive non-expanding ARX “flute” shape has no hollow-point or sharp edges on the nose, yet retains a stopping power and terminal performance exceeding many traditional expanding handgun bullets. Yet all this power, high velocity, and energy impart a lesser felt recoil which allows for quicker follow-up shots. The ARX projectile is fully frangible on hardened steel targets.

“We are very pleased that this large, renowned ammunition company came to Steinel Ammunition to develop and load their Inceptor ARX hunting rounds,” Andy Steinel, president of Steinel Ammunition Co., said. “We stand behind every load we make. Our loads’ performance and accuracy are the results of dedicated research and testing and this partnership demonstrates our shared values in providing the best ammunition for our end customers.”

    1. I tried these guys out a couple months ago. I had family coming to visit and didn’t have time to reload 458 Socom, I travel for work, before they arrived. I ordered a few boxes from them. They called the next day to apologise because they were out of the one type of solid copper ammo I ordered. They instead asked if it we’re ok to ship me a more premium ammo. I was super happy with their communication and how they we’re trying to make sure their customers were taken care of and happy.
The ammo performed flawless, as if I loaded it myself. I will order again from them.

    2. Might be nice to provide some actual data on the ammo – bullet weight, muzzle velocity, target market, retail pricing, availbility date expected, etc. instead of just printing their press release. You know – journalism?
