Baton Rouge, La. — -(AmmoLand.com)- Lipsey’s, a nationally renowned firearms distributor, and combat veteran Larry Vickers, announce the official on-sale launch of the fifth iteration of the “Vickers GLOCK”.
Available immediately, the new Lipsey’s Exclusive, Vickers Tactical edition GLOCK 43 met a record crowd at the sneak peek Lipsey’s customer appreciation launch party at SHOT Show earlier this year. The excitement has built over the last several months as this edition is sure to be another hit in the series.
The compact, black GLOCK 43 is the reliable go-to choice for carry that thousands have adopted. The all-new Vickers Tactical addition bolsters the pistol with the well-known TangoDown Parts kit which includes custom enhanced slide lock, enhanced magazine release and Vickers plus two magazine extension. Add the Wilson Combat rear sight and AmeriGlo ProGlo tritium front for ultra-fast target acquisition. For the first time on a G43 the Vickers Tactical edition features front cocking serrations.
Vickers was all-in on the latest Lipsey’s Exclusive addition stating, “The GLOCK 43 has been one of the most popular GLOCKs ever made and we have seen that in our part sales as well. It only made sense to do a special run of G43’s with Lipsey’s. The end result is an excellent carry gun and one I’m proud to be affiliated with.”
Now a royal flush in the Lipsey’s Exclusive/Vickers Tactical GLOCK offering, Lipsey’s Vice President and Product Development Manager, Jason Cloessner, talks about what made this project so enticing.
“The Vickers GLOCK series of guns are one of our most successful projects to date. Our customers kept asking for a smaller, easier to carry Vickers GLOCK and Larry didn’t disappoint. The Vickers GLOCK 43 is an incredible value that gives you a ready to go carry option right out of the box.”
Located in Baton Rouge, Lipsey’s was originally formed as a wholesale hunting and fishing distributor in 1953. I wonder how much they will charge. Those mag extensions are 12 dollars in town ( I bought three installed for free in town) and I picked up night sights for less than 80 installed. You can pick up the rest of the Vickers stuff cheap and installed for free while you wait at Glockmeisters in Phoenix.
Nice LV has taken his options to the 19 and 17 both were and are out standing upgrades to the basic Glock , that Glock should have been offered all the time . Shame on them …. I honesty believe the 43 they just released. should of been offer with a trigger job as well, the RTF Grip up grade they did on the other LV Glocks would of been the icing on the cake…. I am sure they had there reasons …..Regardless of what others say I believe , LV new 43 are well worth the upgrades if you… Read more »
I carry either a Glock 27 extended mag and laxer in gun.
My other carry is a Sig P320 with a .357 barrel love them both some times I carry both together and no one is the wiser.
I recently purchased the Glock 43x and added Ameriglo IDot Pro sights and an extended slide release that I bought from the GlockStore online, which is similar to the OEM Glock slide release (I have the Vickers on a Gen 3 Glock 19 and like the OEM one better). The 43x holds 10+1 and has a slimmer profile. Why they chose the G43 over the G43x and why anyone would is beyond me? The 43x is a way better concealed carry gun.
Some of us bought the glock 43 before 43x came out.
When I bought the G43 I paid right at $400.00 for it and put mag extenders, wider take down lever, sites and a kydex holster and have about $4.65.00 or so in it, and I bought my sig p320 carry in 357sig out the door for less than they are asking on their website for the x model.
The 43 is a good carry gun. The x model is +3/4″ longer on the butt, and some of us don’t like that sticking out “printing” our shirts.
They advertise one of the features of being cocking serrations on the front, I personally rather grab the barrel when cocking as the G43 is still square and easy to grab, with finger off the trigger of course.
I have bigger hands and just easier that way. With the mag extenders and extra rounds its not bad
at all. I really do like it, but I like all my Glocks.
Why ?
Do the modifications include the gun?
How much for the complete gun?
1. The number of GunDealers will decline! Less then 56,000 F.F.Ls Retailers An: 7000 F.F.L.s = 63,000 F.F.Ls too!! They are declining down slowly too. By each Month passes by too. True!
Vickers is overrated. Most of his mods you can do yourself for a lot less. When Glock came out with the Glock 43X the joke was on Larry.
I have a Vickers complete upper on one of my P80 lowers, and I love it. But you’re right…it’s really nothing more than a Glock upper kit with upgraded sights. I guess they’re really just for people who want to buy an upgraded kit ready to go, instead of doing it themselves.
