To truly protect our rights, however, we need to have a say in who makes our laws.
When candidates for the most prestigious elected office in our country are proud to say that they want to confiscate the legally purchased firearms that millions of responsible gun owners use recreationally, to hunt or protect their families, America’s gun owners need to vote to make sure our rights are never infringed upon by opportunist politicians seeking soundbites rather than Real Solutions that make our communities safer.

Politicians who support this notion will regret the day they ever heard of red flag laws. Currently, they allow a crotchety aunt to complain about a blustery nephew and state police will confiscate his firearms. These laws empower government to repress people based on suspicion alone. I’m not seeing the vote at all.
In my experience with over a half century of voting, there are many elections in which there is no candidate you would want to vote for. But I have very rarely seen any election in which there wasn’t one or more candidates worth voting against. You are absolutely correct, people who blow off elections end up with idiots like Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. Every election is important because the left is counting on conservatives staying home on election day.
Screw NSSF! They’re just as bad as the NRA. They were OK with banning suppressors, bump stocks, FixNICS, and let’s not forget they’re 100% on board with totally unconstitutional legislation like NFA, GCA, Hughes, Lautenberg, etc.
