Ashburn, VA-(Ammoland.com)- On April 25th, 2020, Gun Owners of America will be holding their first annual Gun-A-Thon at Silver Eagle Group in Ashburn, VA.

The Gun-A-Thon will be like nothing the gun community has ever seen. It will be more than just a convention. Attendees can check out the latest offerings from gun companies, listen to Second Amendment speakers, grab some great food, and even shoot multiple firearms.

There will be speakers throughout the day. Maj Toure of Black Guns Matter will join Jon Patton from The Gun Collective, Cheryl Todd from Gun Freedom Radio, Kevin Dixie of N.O.C. Firearms Training, and many more up on stage to share their thoughts on the Second Amendment.

Attendees will also get a chance to meet their favorite firearms personality. Eric Blandford from IV8888 will be meeting fans and taking pictures. Eric will not be the only superstar in attendance that The Gun-A-Thon. Hank Strange is also making the trip to the Washington D.C. suburbs to meet with fans. Jason David Frank spent years entertaining people as the Green Power Ranger, and he will be on hand for autographs. Many more guests will be joining the roster.

The event will take place just minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport at the D.C. area premiere shooting range, Silver Eagle Group (SEG). SEG consists of 33 shooting lanes, a luxurious lounge with vaulted ceilings and leather couches, and a 10,0000 sq. ft event area for companies to showcase their wares and speakers to speak.

SEG also has a fully stocked shop with ammunition of every caliber, firearms for sale and rent, and massive selections of accessories. Whether you bring your own gun or rent one of theirs, you will have fun shooting and supporting the Second Amendment at the same time.

There will be door prizes and giveaways. Attendees will have a chance to win some truly amazing prizes. GOA plans to announce these prizes as it gets closer to the date of the event. The rewards will even include firearms.

In addition to the speakers, exhibits, and shooting, the event will feature an army of food trucks. There will be a wide selection of food for the attendees to choose to satisfy their hunger.

GOA hopes to make this shoot a yearly event. Director of Communications for Gun Owners of America sees this as an opportunity not only to raise money but to also network with other like-minded individuals.

“Gun-A-Thon should be an exciting time for anyone interested in the right to keep and bear arms,” Stein told AmmoLand. “This event provides an opportunity to not only hear from leaders in the Second Amendment community but also to enjoy exercising the Second Amendment at a premiere facility — all while supporting efforts to protect gun rights.”

All proceeds collected will be going towards GOA’s efforts in defending the Second Amendment. More than that, the gun rights groups hope to increase awareness of the attacks the Second Amendment faces.
