This is a little off topic, and only tangentially related to e-commerce. Today we were doing a little tree clearing and broke the lower part of a block and tackle. I have been searching by e-commerce for a replacement double sheave block. Everything is made in China!
Does anyone know of a block and tackle manufacturer in the U.S. or even Canada?
@ Wild Bill, Have you looked on Amazon? They have a lot of them advertised and some of their tech. specs tell what country they are made in. I know they sell a lot of Chinese made junk but not all of it is.
@Tcat, I noticed all that Chinese junk. Can’t hardly find one made elsewhere. I’m going to buy a replacement double sheave block, but it will not be made in China.
Considering that their other electronic powder dispensers cost ($330 to $583) as much as a good AR15, I shudder to think what this one will cost when released.
