Music Legend Charlie Daniels Supports Hunters and Wildlife Conservation, To Play At SCI Convention

Washington, D.C. –  -(AmmoLand.com)- Safari Club International, the leader in defending the freedom to hunt and promoting wildlife conservation worldwide, is excited to announce music legend Charlie Daniels will be playing at its convention in Reno, Nevada on February 7, 2020.

Daniels is replacing musical act REO Speedwagon after that group succumbed to pressure from anti-hunting groups and canceled, putting fundraising for wildlife conservation in jeopardy.

Charlie Daniels has not only been performing legendary music for decades but has also established himself as an iconic American patriot who recognizes America's hunting heritage as part of the bedrock values of this great country.

His trust in the core American principles of the right to keep and bear arms and the right to hunt is what brought his show to SCI's biggest event of the year when misinformed anti-hunting groups display their irrational hostility by trying to bully artists away from our convention stage.

SCI has always been committed to standing up to groups that threaten our values and try to shut down our events, and this time we countered their efforts by delivering a world-famous member of the country music Hall of Fame.

SCI looks forward to seeing all its members, vendors, and friends in Reno this February 5-8th for another year of the best event the outdoor sporting industry has to offer. Register to attend at showsci.org.
