I discovered last night when “Gun Stories” did not record that Charter Spectrum has moved the Outdoor Channel to it Gold Tier, i.e. its most expensive group of channels. Alternatively, it is included in an optional sports package for an extra 10 or 12 bucks a month. I can’t help but wonder if this is a slap in the face of gun owners or people who hunt and fish. Or maybe its just additional ripping off of the customer to increase the coffers of the content providers.

“Top 5 Basic Cable Networks”? NOPE. I don’t have Cable (except for Internet) so I checked my Cable provider’s lineup. Neither channel is in the Basic or Basic Plus package. Only the Outdoor Channel is available and it is in the expensive Top Tier Digital package which requires a special Cable Decoder Box from the Cable Company.
