DENVER — -(AmmoLand.com)- Outdoor Edge announces the introduction of the new RazorBone replaceable blade knife. Accepting a 3.5-inch drop-point blade, a 5-inch boning/fillet blade and a new gutting blade, the new RazorBone offers the ultimate solution to processing big game from start to finish, allowing you to field dress, skin, debone and prepare perfect cuts of meat with a single knife that never needs sharpening. With three blade options, the new RazorBone will be the ultimate choice of knives for avid hunters.

Outdoor Edge RazorBone

The 3.5-inch, general-purpose drop-point blade is a true workhorse for field-dressing and skinning while the new gutting blade will open game like a zipper without piercing vital organs and the reliable, surgically-sharp, boning/fillet blade will process meat quickly and efficiently. Each of the three blades locks securely into the RazorBone’s black-oxide coted stainless steel blade holder to provide the strength and rigidity of a traditional knife, while allowing ample flexibility for the 5-inch boning/fillet blade. Each blade style closes individually into the handle for the convenience of a folder and versatility of a multi-blade knife.

The patented RazorSafe exchange blade system means the perfect blade for the job is merely a button push away. Blades change quickly and easily and have a convenient, easy-to-store case that fits into the sheath. Each blade is precisely heat treated and hand finished shaving-sharp from Japanese 420J2 stainless steel.

The RazorBone features a double molded polymer handle that comprises a sturdy Grivory® frame with rubberized TPR inserts that is molded with an alternating pattern of the Outdoor Edge’s signature mountain range, dubbed Peak Performance Grip™ for nonslip grip when wet. This ergonomically shaped handle prevents tiring and cramping during extended periods of use.

The new Outdoor Edge RazorBone comes complete with three 3.5-inch drop point blades, two 5-inch boning/fillet blades, one gut blade, a nylon belt sheath and polymer blade box to store the spare blades. Also, included is a practical pocket clip to keep the knife where it needs to be – ready for action.

The new RazorBone comes in blaze orange or black. It will be available at retailers nationwide this summer for a suggested retail price of $59.95.

If I wanted a multi-purpose knife, I would buy a swiss army knife, they at least come with a spoon and fork to eat your meal with after a hard day hunting, or trapping, but for most hunters, or trappers, mountain men, one knife, one blade, and sharp as hell, multi purpose, and you don’t have to put it together in the dark.
