USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- Multiple major US cities were left burning after so-called “protesters” took advantage of the death of George Floyd at the hands of one rogue cop, to destroy, steal and burn private and public property.
Instead of peaceful protest calling for change, we had organized agitators, teenagers, and criminals take advantage of a heartbreakingly tragic situation to rob, loot, and destroy, then burn post offices, banks, retail stores, fast-food restaurants, and liquor stores.
Lost in all of this was any mention of George Floyd, but we heard plenty of incoherent foul mouth laced rants against President Donald Trump as Secret Service Agents were hit in the head with bricks as they pushed back crowds in front of the White House.
None of this had anything to do with the death of Mr. Floyd as the cop filmed killing George has already been arrested and charged with murder in record time. And the FBI, DOJ, state and local authorities are all investigating the filmed death.
A Storm is Here
Each of the cities engulfed in flames last night are Democratically controlled strongholds with weak Mayors and Governors. They all have allowed this chaos and destruction to go on without enforcing the law or sending in the police or national guard to stop this madness, all in the name of letting “protesters” blow off steam. When in our lifetimes have we ever seen an American police station abandoned and allowed to be looted and burned. I hope no one was locked in the cells!
Where is the national leadership of the Democratic party? Not a single one of them has come out in condemnation of the law-breaking looters? On the Republican side, we have only seen a few including Texas senator Ted Cruz call them out for what they are, criminals thugs!
We saw the deep states’ attempt at a soft coup in the case of Michael Flynn against Donald Trump. It seems that the peaceful transition of power has disappeared from our nation, and we are seeing a trial run of their next attempt at a hard, violent coup to change America into the United Communist States of America forcibly.
We now see the future response we can expect from Democrats and their thug allies when they lose the election in November…again. This time it appears that rather than crying and screeching, they are intent on destroying and burning America.
The past few nights should be a wake-up call for anybody who believes in law and order and the decency towards their fellow Americans. We have heard this time and again that “this election is the most important one” well, it appears now we’re at another election battle for the soul of our country, so be prepared to vote.
And as always stay heavily armed, trained, dangerous, and prepared to defend our way of life and our Constitution. God bless the USA! We are going to need it.

I saw a video being shared on Twitter where a Caucasian man was leaving an expensive pair of shoes in the passenger seat of his car. As he placed the shoes he told the camera he was using them as bait for looters so he could snipe therm from his bedroom window. I would not be surprised if this video was staged juicy to further rile people up.

@AZ-Don – Technically you can use lethal force in protection of property in Texas. However you are likely to incur significant legal costs in the aftermath. Setting a baited trap as @TriBlade discusses, and publishing such plans online, seems like the height of folly. Just because action is legal does not mean that plaintiffs will not win civil suit against you – and with such a video in hand they definitely will.

On FOX News this morning there was a question as to whether Pres. Trump has the authority to designate ANTIFA a Terrorist Organization. If he doesn’t have the authority, it would be up to Congress to make the declaration. I was front line during the protests/riots in my area. Many of these people were children. Do I believe in taking to vandalism ABSOLUTELY NOT, but they do not deserve to be killed for their misdeeds. You don’t shoot a 16 year old kid in the head for stealing a car. They suffer the consequences through the rule of law. Not mob justice. As Republicans, we know this to be true. It depends on the nature of the offense, transmission versus distribution have their own nuances outside of generation. After a hurricane or earthquake or other such regional event, the federal government can marshal resources from unaffected parts of the country to help out in the impacted area. Finnky, the Posse Comitatus Act has not been amended. PCA requires a governors certificate that the situation can not be controlled by local law enforcement, in the request.
National Guard is title 32 until nationalized (title 10) so the governor can give them orders, w/o federal intervention.
@WB – That is a very important distinction. Words I had read as coming from Trump (not confirmed as what he said) – sounded as though HE was going to send in the national guard, as in called up to federal service. If the state (in person of the governor) needs to call up NG to perform law enforcement, that is entirely different and entirely appropriate.
One of the tasks specifically assigned FedGov is to “quell riot and disturbance”.

Not quite the correct distinction, Finn. Posse Comitatus prevents the military from enforcing civil law… but the President and the state governors can call in troops (active, reservist, or national guard) specifically to quell violent rioting. While in support of local law enforcement, the military can ONLY work to prevent/stop actual rioting. But the troops cannot themselves exercise law-enforcement duties, such as making civil arrests, transporting prisoners, etc.

Unless “limited” immunity is drastically reduced, it won’t matter what prosecutors do with Chauvin. Court will find that no cases similar enough have been ruled on, so “rogue cop” has lost his job but may simply find another as soon as publicity dies down.

@WB – Forget term, whether it is “qualified” or “limited” immunity – but It is a policy implemented by SCOTUS which basically says that if cops do outrageous enough stuff they are shielded from prosecution because they did it under color of authority rather than suffering additional consequences as I think they should.
