NSSF Statement on NY Attorney General’s Intent to Dissolve the NRA

NY AG James Attacks NRA Tweet

U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- The NSSF, the trade association for the firearm industry, is troubled by the politically-driven decision of New York Attorney General Letitia James to seek to dissolve the National Rifle Association, America’s oldest civil rights organization. The lawsuit filed today by Attorney General James seeks to punish the over five million members of the National Rifle Association based on mere allegations of possible wrongdoing by a few individuals.

NSSF is deeply concerned about the apparent political agenda to silence the strongest voice in support of the Second Amendment ahead of the election in November.

This lawsuit, and one filed today by the District of Columbia Attorney General, should concern all Americans who cherish both the First and Second Amendments to our Constitution regardless of their views on what laws and regulations are appropriate to address the criminal misuse of firearms.

By the statements in James’ twitter, she should dissolve the DNC, RNC, Moms Demand Action, Brady Bunch, Everytown Against Gun Violence, et el, et el. Fat chance of equality here.

It appears that ny’s ag statements are incorrect, “no organization is above the law” except her organization of crooked procescutors with immunity clauses.

Sad to say, but the witches’ tweet isn’t wrong. The NRA under LaPierre IS self-dealing and fraught with fraud and abuse. Perhaps, if “his majesty, Wayne I” were to resign or be removed, the law suit would be dismissed or at least lose steam.

I agree with you, however we don’t punish the many million members because the leader(s) is/are doing things behind the membership’s backs. A thorough investigation should be undertaken and if fraud is found then the proper thing would be for Wayne and his crooked underlings resign. Notice I said “crooked” in the previous statement.
