The 3rd Day of Christmas by Bloomberg & Beto-Backed Texas Lawmakers

TEXAS NRA-ILA
The lone star state is getting another lump of anti-gun coal for Christmas courtesy of Beta and Bloomberg. IMG NRA-ILA

U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- NRA-ILA is counting down the legislative lumps of coal anti-Second Amendment lawmakers in Texas are leaving in gun owners’ stockings this year. Dozens of gun control bills pre-filed in advance of the 2021 legislative session are political payback to New York billionaire Michael Bloomberg, BETO “Hell Yeah, I’ll Take Your Guns” O’Rourke, and radical leftists who want to ban firearms, defund police and make YOU less safe.

Please support NRA-ILA as we work with gun owners to STAND YOUR GROUND on the Second Amendment in the Texas Legislature next year!

Next up: House Bill 603 by Rep. Terry Meza (D-Irving) which prohibits Texas from recognizing a License To Carry issued by another state. The measure repeals state law allowing the governor to negotiate carry license reciprocity agreements with other states and requires DPS to revoke all existing agreements.

Texas currently recognizes licenses from 43 states. If it were to become law, HB 603 could result in any or all of these states denying Texas License To Carry holders the right to protect themselves while traveling through or visiting those states.

NRA-ILA will work to defeat HB 603 in the upcoming session because your right to carry a firearm to defend yourself should not end at the Texas state line.

I prefer that such would-be tyrants… what do we politically-correctly call them, “non-patriots”? [for you few socialist readers, who haven’t the brains to recognize it, that’s sarcasm]… first get fired, then (after the trial) get fired at by a firing squad. Now, THAT would be a very effective deterrent to tyranny!

donfranko

I think your a troll trying to get patriots to agree with ignorant statements.. maybe even working for BATF

JoeUSooner

I think… that you don’t “think” at all (and, by the way, you should work on your grammar and spelling).

musicman44mag, you’re correct ! But, if a DemocRAT becomes the White House resident, either “Dementia Joe” or the Garden Tool, we will never get Constitutional Carry while they are in office or while the House is controlled by a DemocRAT majority ! If the DemocRATs win in GA, we may even kiss the 2nd Amendment goodby !

Dee

Idiot you just lost all credibility in your statement by shouting out freaking stupid childish name calling comments. In the future, do yourself a favor and not say shite!!

On another note, we must stop the foolery that’s going on. Every American should have the right to carry in ALL 50 states and US territories. Let’s call this Congressman and voice our opinions now!!!

uncle dudley

This bill will not even make it out of committee let alone reach the floor for debate.
Looks like Texans really need to get some representatives voted out of office who like to file frivolous bills attempting to take away rights.

I agree, but she won by a 13% margin just this year.

JSNMGC

I wonder if a pro-2nd Amendment person has ever hosted a debate between her and the opposing candidate and destroyed her with facts and logic as they asked her detailed details about Universal Background Checks and governement-mandated storage requirements? From her website: “Texans are ready to make the changes necessary to protect our children and each other. I am committed to standing up and fighting against the epidemic of gun violence that plagues us all. Last year, I filed two bills to document the sale of every handgun in Texas and help close the “gun show” loophole. I am committed… Read more »

They(the Demon Rats)always spout”Its for the children!” If the gave a flying Cow Flop about the children, they’d vote to defund their biggest cash Cow, Planned Parenthood! Fat chance of those hypocrites ever doing that!

JSNMGC

And ban hotdogs, grapes, bathtubs, glass table tops, texting technology, etc., etc.

JSNMGC

I agree. I’ve made the argument at debates and Q&A forums I’ve hosted for candidates. They hate being asked detailed questions. There are people in the audience who have never heard the counter argument to the lies supporting gun control proposals and you can see the lights go on. I hope someone in Meza’s district hosts an event and asks her detailed questions. It’s not hard to make gun control advocates look like idiots in front of their constituency. More importantly, it can change the minds of some voters who care about facts and logic. To all the white, suburban… Read more »

Just what IS the “gun show” loophole? I’ve researched it, read what people said it was supposed to be, but haven’t been able to find out what it exactly is. Can you enlighten me as to what that so-called loophole actually is? If you can, I’d be forever grateful.

Become a gun rights Democrat! Some Liberal and progressives luv guns.

Democratic socialist liberals can’t….. REPUBLICANS OWN ALL THREE BRANCHES

Stag

And yet it has been Republicans who have killed constitutional carry the past several legislative sessions.

JSNMGC

Yes, the RINOS killed it. The real Republicans are the ones speaking out against the BATFE. Courageous, aren’t they?

Stag

I find it hilarious that the NRA mentioned House Bill 603 by Rep. Terry Meza which prohibits Texas from recognizing a License To Carry issued by another state considering the NRA refused to endorse and campaign for the last constitutional carry bill introduced in the Texas legislature. A bill that would have made this legislation introduced by Meza null and void. The very same constitutional carry bill that REPUBLICANS killed.
