Ammunition Comment: On the state of ammunition ordering in 2020. All of us at AmmoLand News are well aware that there is very little to zero (0) inventory of in-stock ammunition in the popular .223, 5.56, or 9mm calibers that we can link to in daily deals. Any that we do find currently in stock sell out in minutes or hours. Regarding existing order cancelations. According to FTC rules if the delivery date on ammunition you already ordered gets pushed back the retailer has to cancel your order or in some cases give you the option to stay in line but for the new delivery date. If any of the pre-ordering, waiting, and running the risk of cancellations or other delays is a problem for you please do not order from them as we have no ability to address any issues with your order once you place it with Optics Planet which is a third party retailer from AmmoLand News. We are living in crazy times.

I ordered 9mm FMJ winchester from Optics Planet in October. They still have not filled the order even though they have had it in stock and offered it for sale at much higher prices since then. They claim my order will be filled in April. It looks like they have no intention of honoring the order or price they accepted in October. These people can’t be trusted to follow through on orders they accepted. Not my problem they didn’t have the inventory to fill the order when they accepted it. They shouldn’t have taken orders they couldn’t fill. They need… Read more »

For that price, I shouldn’t even have to aim.

Spanky

$1.90 per cartridge. yeah that’s not price gouging at all! Thanks for the deal Ammoland!

Spanky,

I don’t think you get it.
AmmoLand doesn’t set the prices. All we do is try to find the best prices AT THIS TIME. If you can find better prices, please share them with everybody, we’d all love to hear about great prices.

Dave in Fairfax

PS,

Since you won’t share, all I can say is Harrumph.
Oh, and gloating isn’t pretty. %-)

PS,

Apparently someone missed the humor. Oh well.
Just 6? Underachievers. I can think of way more than that who should be at the dance.
Any time you want to tell me where to find cheap ammo all is forgiven. %-)

Ammoland is one of the worst company for price gouging I’ve run across. What’s the deal, going out of business are they???

W at D,

I think I see the problem with the business model. We shoulda bought up all the ammo a while back then we wouldn’t have to try to find you the ammo, we could sell it direct and pocket the money. /sarc

If you know of better prices, please speak up, I’m sure everybody would love to hear about old timey prices about now. 😉

RoyD

The troubling thing, wolf, is that you have no idea what you have done. Not surprising considering that half the US population has an IQ …….

Knute

Less than their shoe size? 🙂

Finnky

Let’s not exaggerate…. try room temp. Smart enough to learn some English and to parrot what they are told.

Funny thing about averages. Distribution does not have to be symmetrical. Two people with IQ of 70 and one at 160 and the average is 100 – yet two thirds are below average. My WAG is that median is probably around 90. Maybe less. My kids have always run with the right crowd, what they consider average is probably closer to 120.

Have met too many “normal” people who make by brother-in-law^2 with downs look like a genius.

RoyD

Hey, I didn’t mention the “median” because I didn’t want the audience share to drop anymore than it probably already had. But, now that you have, I concur.

Dave in Fairfax

RoyD,

Odd you should mention that. I was talking to my wife, the other night, and wondering why there seemed to be a marked shift to the left. Public schools would explain ignorance, but not stupidity.
