Wow $1.69 a round. Over $50 to fill one mag. The same ammo I bought for 46¢ per round before Covid. I’m going to wait it out some more..

MarkCo

Agreed! Quite frankly its sad to see Brownells selling it for that price. If distributors / manufacturers are passing that kind of inflated price forward, it reflects poorly on the brand and the retailer,, for me anyway.

What are you mad about?

The market sets the price.

Brownell’s is offering the product for sale at a price they believe to be in-line with the market.

People have a choice to buy or not buy.

What are you mad about?

Ryben Flynn

Probably he’s mad because the base materials to make ammunition has not gone up as drastically. Copper, brass and lead have not gone up that much and ammo companies buy it by the ton. And those companies that make their powder and/or primers have not seen much of an increase in the raw materials.

JSNMGC

It’s not a cost plus world.

The market sets the price.

Wait away, and in the meantime, others will buy the ammunition you passed on while waiting…next time around, it may be $2 a round, or $2.50 a round, but that’s okay, we’ll watch you “wait it out some more”…

So, 1-20rnd box is $31.99, 1-200rnd case is $338.99…
Hmmm, a better deal would be 10-20rnd boxes for $319.00 apply the MZA code discount for a total of, $299.90…

This should be called “Ammo In-Shock”.
I loaded 150gr. FMJ for about 36¢ a round back when H110 powder was available.
I have 50 Hornady168gr. BTHP and CFEBLK I could load for <45¢ each.

WI Patriot

when H110 powder was available”

And there you have it…
