I really wish they would stop calling it constitutional carry. The bill we got was far from constitutional.

YES. It’s not Constitutional Carry with all the deadly “gun free” zones like the El Paso Mall. US LawShield is misrepresenting it. Per their definition it would be “CC” if you could only “legally” carry in 1% of Texas. It’s a lot better than nothing, but the recent surge of “Constitutional Carry” laws have a big kabuki component. e.g., Iowa suddenly passed it after their entire federal delegation voted to help Pence certify the stolen election and put gun-grabbers in the White House. With Abbot’s reelection struggle coming, Texas’ “CC” law pacifies an R base disgusted that his Covid lockdown… Read more »

And to think the 2nd Amendment was written so a 10 year old could understand it. Damn coding. lol

@greenboxmedia

10 year olds do understand the natural, constitutional, civil right to self defense via firearm. It is the overly paid and underperforming public servants, that lack logic and reasoning skills…

@green – a ‘slight’ correction to your observation – the 2nd specifies “arms” – guns just happen to be the most effective of those arms.

Tionico

most useful I would say. Plenty of items are mpre effective but neither affordable nor convenient to keep ready to hand.

GomeznSA

Tio – until ya run out of ammo! Depending on what you have it ‘might’ mke a fair club after that. I won’t say exactly what other ‘arms’ I may have on hand or how effective they might be 🙂

Longeno

Exactly.

Rebel VA

Yep, shows how smart our lawmakers are!

TexasGunCents

It isn’t stupidity. We aren’t in the club. We can’t be trusted with rights we might ‘abuse’, so they abuse our rights.

HLB

Yes, Ignorance of the Constitution is not an excuse.

GomeznSA

HLB – very true but as most of us know that certainly doesn’t stop – or even slow down – those politicians who don’t wish to comply with the restrictions place on them – and .gov as well – by it.

Tionico

you mean SOME of our elected trough-sloppers don’t actually uphold, defend, apply the WHOLE Constitution? Oh I am SOOOoooo shocked!!!!

I will most likely have taken my last breath long before any of them are held accountable and treated justly. Oh well.. I kmow my hopeis not in anything on this old dirtball.

Bubba

Come on Ammoland. Remove this crap.

So why don’t you just publish the info here rather than making people jump through hoops including giving up their name and e-mail address and zip code? It really is all about the Benjamins isn’t it.

Grigori

It’s so they can SPAM you to hell and back via e-mail, text, phone, and USPS, for eternity, much as the NRA does.

TexasGunCents

You don’t have spam filters, caller ID, trash cans and fire where you live? It is not straight Constitutional Carry like many thought it should be. I suspect some will point to the new class of technical offenders and say “see, told you it was a bad idea.” So it is OUR job to explain to our 2A family actually what it is and is not, why and how the law is deficient, and what to do about it. The guide is pretty good at the former. Share it around! Our next job is to explain the later.

Glocktarded

You don’t have spam filters, caller ID, trash cans and fire where you live?”

Why go through the hassle? Not going to their web site is easier.

Tionico

first spam from them I will simply block their email address. They don’t have any phone nos, nor mail address. It does look like apuff piece for their outfit. I eill reserve judgement until I see their stuff.

THING #1: It’s not Constitutional Carry. It kept all the public & public-private ‘gun free’ zones, few-none of which existed in 1789/92 (Constitution/2A). It’s not Carry where you can’t carry, in a patchwork quilt of ‘gun free’ zones that deters carry in legal zones. Partial Permitless Carry.

Many Rs & ‘Ls’ in R states feel smug-safe in The Shire with ‘Con Carry’ & ‘2A sanctuaries’for now pacified till CommieDems lock down supermajority Fed-state perma-control by theft, tsunammigration, invasion-occupation & anchor-Dem fast-breeding. Most ‘sanctuaries’ are toothless: no penalties for cops who piss on the oath & help the federales enforce illegal laws.
