The term “milspec” is thrown around a lot. 1005 Tactical has owned the actual mil-spec for countless parts for over 20 years. They supply the lower components to the Department of Defense as well as countless large name firearm companies. You will undoubtedly see these exact triggers sold by other companies for much more. Quality is unsurpassed and ISO (9001:2008) compliant. Simply put this is the best trigger on the market anywhere near this price point.

The new 1005 Tactical 2-Stage Nickel Boron Trigger. With a 4.5 lb total pull weight and a durable Nickel Boron finish, this trigger ensures a smooth pull and crisp break every time you squeeze the trigger.

The two stages of this trigger consist of an initial 2lb pull that brings you to a “wall”, where the hammer and trigger are set to break for the shot. After that, it’s only a 2.5 lb pull to fire, helping you to make accurate shots with short resets in between.

I have used these triggers on all my AR builds. It has to be the least expensive, best improvement you can do on an AR. If you want to lighten your trigger pull and make the release crisper this is the ticket. I love them! It is so easy to change them out, plenty of videos online to show you how. Anyone with a little mechanical sense and basic tools can do it. No special tools required. This is a great price too. I’ve been paying $89 for them.

there is no doubt Schmid trigger sets ( or even basic LPKs) are THE ONES to have…. look inside any recent Colt carbine or rifle. And while these two- stage sets are an outstanding value for what and how they deliver, i have a problem with some of this article’s write-up concerning the term Mil-Spec and the specs implied.
yes, the term Mil Spec gets tossed around waaay to often. just like the TDP specifies C158 steel in bolt assemblies, no DOD M4A1 uses an 7075 aluminum disconnector either. to imply they do is being nothing less than disingenuous.

Tip- Don’t check any of the shipping options and you get free freight.
EDIT: Disregard, they sent me an email saying I chose pick up

A trigger is a trigger no matter what the material. How is this any better than the stock AR trigger? They all function the same.

I see you have never felt the difference between a single stage, milspec trigger and a two stage trigger.

you don’t know what you don’t know.
