I just bought 1000 rounds of 5.56 for less than this. PMC XTAC brass casings, not steel. I wouldn’t buy a case of 9mm for anything over $200.

Coming down. I’ll pick up another case when it’s back down to pre-panic prices – or less – as it will in a few months.

For you reloaders, Dillon Precision the people that make the blue press sells gun powder. I haven’t used it but with restrictions and mandatory requirements on manufacturing I am sure it is a good product based on my experience using a lot of the tools that they make for bullet production. I have RCBS products, and I use that whenever I make precision bullets but for plinking it is all about the BLUE and my 500 works great. Just thought I would try and help those finding it hard to find powder. Now if only projectiles would start coming back… Read more »

This is no sale. You put this on your page like it’s a deal. It’s not. It’s a ripoff. When it gets to $250 for 1000 rounds, delivered, then let us know. Thanks for the try though.

Similarly…finally received a 14 month back order from Optics Planet for my original order price from last year …. And when I asked if I could double or triple the order at that price…they laughed….but they stood with price of old. Didn’t cost nothing to wait, and that price is still 25% lower than today’s prices. I’m happy !

musicman44mag

Glad that worked out for you. I did the same thing on projectiles because they said delivery was in 60 days and then I looked it up a week ago and they changed it to unknown. It’s ok like you say. Doesn’t cost anything to wait.

I was blown away this past week. I received a 16-17 month back order from “Sportsmans Guide” for 2000 rounds of 115 gr / brass cased Blazer ammo for $462, and it was delivered.

I got to take back what I’ve said about these guys for the last 16 months.

Woooo- woo

Wild Bill

Wow, I wonder how that happened. I am jealous.

Terry

Not sure, ever 3-5 months i kept getting emails with a new intended date of delivery (always pushed back) with a required reply (keep order or not). I then saw an advertisement about 6 weeks ago for the exact same product (SKU number and all) for double the price. I screen shot the advertisement and forwarded it to their customer service and ask if they had product to sell why had i not received my back order yet? A week later i got a reply that they were trying to get back orders completed in the order that they came… Read more »

I wonder how many customers didn’t renew their membership over delaying their ammo ? I didn’t renew & won’t. I got tired of having to confirm order.

Terry

Hell all you had to do was return email, “yes”. It was an announce but obviously worth it

Arny

I don’t look at emails every day. And why don’t you pay all your bills a year ahead of time ? lol

Wild Bill

I am still marveling over this.

Ansel Hazen

So if OP and SG are fulfilling these orders it would stand to reason they aren’t losing money at the old prices.

Let that sink in people.

swmft

the old price is now their break even , look at the price they are paying for scrap brass and copper, cant forget led omg

musicman44mag

You are probably right but don’t forget those higher prices mean the economy is so much stronger and better now that uncle Joe Kamalatoe O’biden is in charge, Right? NOT>

It only makes sense when you use new math and not the old racist math don’t you know.
