U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- Today, January 10th, the Georgia Legislature begins the 2022 legislative session. Last week, Governor Brian Kemp announced his support for constitutional carry. Currently, 21 states allow law-abiding adults to carry a concealed handgun for self-defense without having to go through government red tape or pay fees. Of these, five passed their constitutional carry laws just last year.

NRA will fight to pass constitutional carry in 2022 in order to improve self-defense in Georgia, for the benefit of law-abiding citizens and to recognize that this right is inherent. Please stay tuned to www.nraila.org and your email inbox for further updates.

How is that fair? A whole host of government favored professions listed… Read more »

It’s not.

The politicians aren’t the ones who would arrest you. The ones who would arrest you have LEOSA credentials.

Phil1979

Very true. But the LEOSA guys would get me because the spineless Republican politicians that control the General Assembly and Governor’s Office won’t trust a vetted and licensed citizen to carry in their “special” places. Those places are reserved for their favored political pets to carry in.

Yes – it takes two.

Tyranny is not possible without both groups.

But Stacy Abrams and a Democrat run legislature would definitely be better for GA. gun owners LMFAO!
