NY Attorney General Subpoenas NRA’s Susan LaPierre

New York ~ -(Ammoland.com)- NY’s AG has issued a subpoena for documents to Susan LaPierre that gives us a good inside idea of what the aggressive NYAG is investigating at this point in the ongoing NRA disaster.

One area is the Women’s Leadership Forum, which Susan chairs, and which is a gathering place for wealthy female donors. The AG wants to know if they have real fundraising goals, what are their expenses vs. revenue brought in, and in short if this really raises money or is just an excuse to dispense luxuries. The AG also wants documents relating to the hiring of Susan’s niece by WLF.

The AG also seeks documents related to the McKenzies, who own the vendors that got millions from the NRA and, in turn, let the LaPierre’s use their $20,000 a day yacht. “This request includes without limitation celebrity events organized, sponsored, or hosted by the McKenzies at Paradise Island in the Bahamas.”

The International Order of St. Hubertus Screengrab 01/2022

They also seek documents relating to a number of hunting groups, including some very exclusive ones like the “International Order of St. Hubertus.” Plus, documents relating to a lot of music groups, “NRA Country, Lou Raiola, Morgan Mills Music, Monarch Publicity, PassCode Creative, WarpSpeed Experiences” and others, and some that may relate to NRA’s NASCAR sponsorships, “NRA Sports, Henry Aviation, Speedway Motor Sports, LLC, DI Marketing, Veritas Management, SMISC Holdings, Inc., and any other entity owned or operated, in whole or in part, by Braun Smith.” Possibly looking for kickbacks?

If McKenzie and firms were giving the LaPierres big yacht stays and paying for their rooms at a resort, perhaps other vendors who were making millions were expected to match his favors?

Plus documents relating to her wardrobe, spa, salon, and other costs paid by NRA, and to the $6 million mansion that was planned for Wayne and her, using NRA money.

Also, all documents “relating to the election of NRA Board members, the selection or consideration of nominees for the NRA Board, advertisements or campaigning for NRA Board elections, and the assignment of committees for NRA Board members” to include those relating to NRA Members’ Councils of California, which was used as a tool to elect chosen board candidates. This should be interesting!

A few surprises: they want all documents relating to “NRA’s sponsorship of the Washington Football Team (formerly known as the Washington Redskins) or the NRA’s Owners Club Suite at FedEx Field, including but not limited to All Documents relating to the purchase or use of the NRA’s Owners Club Suite.” Those are the most exclusive suites at that stadium, rental runs up to $18,000 per game.

If this is indeed true, we must wonder if a single director knew that NRA had such seats? We know the grassroots membership didn’t know.

About NRA in Danger

We are a group of NRA members, all life or above, who are concerned about where our organization is being taken. In 2019, the 150-year-old NRA, the oldest civil rights organization in the country, was rocked by scandals, financial and others. The members deserve the truth, and we will do our imperfect best to give it to them.

We can be contacted at: NRAlifer -at- protonmail.com Visit nraindanger.wordpress.com for additional updates.

Oh boy, more lawyer fees to eat up NRA funds that should be spent elsewhere. The LaPierres will undoubtedly drive the association into true bankruptcy. Wayne is the new poster boy for ‘hero to zero.’

Since LaPierre and all his crooked cronies won’t do the right thing (resign, eat a bullet, etc.) then whatever it takes to put an end to the ongoing corruption and abuse by LaPierre and his cronies is fine with me. I never thought I’d approve of anything done in a U.S. court of (alleged) so-called “Justice”, but in this case, I hope they bring Wayne and ALL of his bitches down so the NRA can begin again and get it right this time.

I was thinking the same thing. If leftists are going to help try to get Wayne and his henchmen out, why not let them? If anything, it would force the NRA to pare down, restructure, and get back to basics. Who knows, they might even start listening to their own members.

cant have that listen to little people heavens next they will want a say

Main reason is they will appoint even worse cronies to those positions.
Not sure if there are even worse people then LaPierre though.

NRA’s troubles all stem from bad leadership. Time for a purge.

How many and what Anti-Second American gun RIGHTS laws were instituted using the NRA’s directives?
I believe there were NINE(9) laws against American Citizens’ RIGHTS made using the NRA’s input. I saw a list, however, that list was SO BLURRY I could not read it.

From what I understand. The NRA had a hand in the NFA of 1934 and was instrumental in the NAZi Weapons Control Act of 1968. Fondly referred to as the GCA of 68!

Lyndon Johnson signed the GCA on 22 October 1968. On that anniversary I fly the stars and stripes upside down.

The US Flag should ALWAYS (as a distress signal) be flown upside down! I put postage stamps that have a flag on upside down on my mail. Just a small sign of protest. I wonder how many people notice it.

I wonder how many people receive it. I’ve had 6 USPS letters tampered with since the covid hysteria began. None before

I do the same thing.
I also fly my flag upside down on my boat all the time lately.

The NRA supported, and in some cases helped write, the NFA, GCA, Mulford Act, Hughes Amendment, import bans, NICS, bumpstock ban, red flag laws, and FixNICS. Those are just the major ones.

We want the same things.
Remove by force if possible all sitting members of the board and everyone above.
Hold a new election and start to rebuild the NRA to what it was intended to be.
I hate the fact that as a life member our voices are not counted. (Sounds like the elitism in our government as well)

Good. The sooner this fake gun rights organization is destroyed, the soon the money will got to actual gun rights organizations that aren’t devoted to slowly selling away rights to enrich their owners.

I agree the “leadership” in the NRA needs to be CLEANSED. However, the ORIGINAL INTENT of the NRA needs to continue.

IMO the NRA should be disbanded, defuncted, to exist No More.

Signed, a FORMER Life Member!

… Negotiating Rights Away since 1934.

Thankfully we have GOA and FPC, both very active.

I don’t see what the NRA can actually “fight for” anymore, I mean they ain’t gonna fight what they were complicit in introducing now are they?
All they seem to care about is raising $$

The Liberals are rubbing their hands together in glee at all this. The NRA has a lot of power to do good, but not if Wayne and his inner circle continue to run it into the ground. He really should do the right thing and step down so the NRA can completely reorganize with fresh blood. We need to be able to present a united front to the Liberals and their fascist proclivities.

Harold won’t like this!

NRA’s troubles stem from bad leadership that resulted from uninvolved members who just donated money. It took decades for many of them to see the light. It was time for a purge many decades ago. The people who are trying to “save” the NRA are part of the problem: https://nrawatch.org/report/the-continued-decline-of-the-nra/ They were here just months ago asking for yet more money to pay more lawyers. They did not disclose their personal interests. The NRA should have dried-up a long time ago, but uninformed people kept sending money. Now it’s time to work to make sure other organizations don’t follow the… Read more »
