But seriously, doesn’t it occur to alone writing ad copy that they’d make more sales if they could at least get the HEADLINE correct?
No, obviously it doesn’t.
Everybody is in a hurry, now-a-days. No craftsmanship even with copy editing.
I put it down to smartfone habits. “Just slap some letters down. The reader will figure it out”.
That might work OK in a 140 character tweet that contains nothing useful in the first place, but it certainly doesn’t smell like professionalism to me. It reeks of infantile amateurishness. IMO only, OFC. But in 6 decades of practice, In matters of business, I find professionals to be very much better to deal with.
