U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) proudly announced on April 21 its endorsement of Sen. Mike Crapo for reelection to the U.S. Senate in the 2022 Idaho Republican Primary.
“As one of the strongest defenders of the Second Amendment in Congress, the NRA is proud to endorse Sen. Crapo. We encourage all Idaho NRA members, supporters, gun owners and sportsmen to vote Mike Crapo for Senate in the May 17 primary election,” said Jason Ouimet, chairman, NRA-PVF.
As Idaho’s senior senator, Crapo has tirelessly promoted the lawful use of firearms and protected the rights of sportsmen in Idaho and across the country by fighting discrimination from big banks on the firearms industry and law-abiding gun owners. He has also introduced the Hearing Protection Act, which would cut bureaucratic red tape and enable better access to equipment that would protect hearing while hunting and shooting recreationally with suppressors. Further, Crapo has led the fight to overturn a firearm carry ban on millions of acres of federal land.
Crapo has earned the highest attainable “A+” rating from the NRA. That rating is reserved for elected officials who have a demonstrated record of leadership in the fight to promote and defend the right to keep and bear arms.
“Sen. Crapo is a true leader for the Second Amendment and we can count on him to continue to lead the fight for gun owners while in Washington,” Ouimet concluded.

I know nothing of Senator Mike Crapo but I do know the NRA on many occasions has not only exaggerated the pro-gun accomplishments and attributes of people it has endorsed, it has out-and-out LIED about them. I left the NRA around a decade ago when I finally figured out that their endorsements for political office were meaningless and worthless as a guide to be used in voting for pro-2A candidates.
The NRA endorsing Crapo is as bad as Trump endorsing Dr. Oz.
The NRA endorsing anyone makes me automatically suspicious of them and i will definitely scrutinize them before i support them. The No Rights Absolute has endorsed people in the past that voted okay on gun stuff but absolutely screwed the American people with their other votes like NDAA re-authorization and other freedom robbing votes.
