The next ammo shortage is standing on our porch and knocking on our doors. Lake City Arsenal has halted civilian sales, ostensibly to support military actions related to the Israel situation. Additionally, about the same time as that announcement, there was an explosion at a Hornady plant in Nebraska which killed one and injured two. If no other reason than panic-buying, expect ammo availability to drop and prices to increase soon. If you can afford case lots such as this, it won’t hurt to have them around. Scary that we let ourselves get into a situation like that. Scarier, is the probability that it is 100% intentional that we did.

Cool on the 1903A3! I have one but have not fired it in over 50 years. It belonged to my biological father, I believe a DCM purchase. That sounds neat, those diverse old headstamps you bought back then!
