Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select: SWBI), a leader in firearm manufacturing and design, is proud to recognize and announce the growth of its Brand Ambassador Team.

Joining as a Smith & Wesson Ambassador toward the end of 2022, Travis Kennedy brings a great deal of character, firearms knowledge, and experience to the Team. Travis enlisted in the Navy in 2006 with the goal of becoming a Navy SEAL and, after graduating from SEAL training, went on to complete the Special Operations Combat Medic course. He was stationed at SEAL Team Four, where he completed two successful combat deployments and later went on to become a Basic Underwater Demolition/Seal (BUD/s) instructor, where he was able to develop and mentor future SEALs.

Shortly after, Travis ran a Special Operations Urban Combat training division where he focused on urban combat tactics, combat shooting, and professional development. In 2019, he made the decision to give back and started Kennedy Defensive Solutions. Travis now applies his 11 years of experience as a United States NAVY SEAL toward educating and training individuals on defensive shooting tactics and instilling the “Thinking Shooter” mindset.

“To be sponsored by Smith & Wesson is a profound privilege and an opportunity to embody firearm excellence. With their support, I proudly stand by their unmatched craftsmanship and innovation. Representing the highest quality firearm, I have the responsibility to exemplify precision, reliability, and performance. As a Brand Ambassador of S&W, I carry their legacy, empowering others to embrace the power and responsibility of exceptional weaponry,” said Travis.

Smith & Wesson is also pleased to announce its newest addition to the Ambassador Team, Chad Robichaux. Chad is a former Force Recon Marine, DoD Contractor, and Pro MMA Champion. In addition to Chad’s military service across eight deployments, he has served our nation as a Special Agent with the US Federal Air Marshal Service, was a Surveillance Detection Senior Program Manager for the US State Department, and is a Medal of Valor recipient.

Chad founded the Mighty Oaks Foundation, a leading non-profit serving the active duty, military veteran, and first responder communities around the world, and is considered a subject matter expert on faith-based solutions to PTSD, even serving as the Chairman of a White House Veterans Coalition. Chad also Co-Founded Save Our Allies and led a historic effort to rescue his former interpreter and 17,000 others from Afghanistan during the withdrawal. Chad is an accomplished bestselling author and has written a number of books related to veteran care and overcoming life’s challenges.

“Smith & Wesson has been America’s firearm manufacturer since 1852, and they are in lockstep with my personal core values: God, country, freedom! And for that reason, I’m honored to partner with them as a Brand Ambassador,” said Chad.

Smith & Wesson is proud to welcome Travis Kennedy and Chad Robichaux to the Ambassador Team.

Thank goodness they didn’t add that freedom shill Tim Kennedy.

When the previous owner of S & W crawled into bed with the Clinton Administration, the brand went on my “Do Not Buy” list.

Permanently.

Now, I’m well aware that the previous owners almost went bankrupt as a result of their pandering to gun grabbers, and that the brand is now owned by someone else.

I don’t care.

Buy the brand, buy the taint.

OlTrailDog

Yea, I know what you mean. I could never love America because we had presidents like Wilson, FDR, Johnson, Obama, and Biden. Plumb full of taint. Nah, I don’t believe the sins of the fathers are the sins of the sons and I’m attempting to make a point in my usual nonsensical way. 😉

What follows is from an Ammoland article by Lee Williams on January 11, 2022, at https://www.ammoland.com/2022/01/list-anti-gun-business-avoid-giving-your-money/#axzz81sFRqAVa : ——————————– Do you eat at Chipotle, Shake Shack, Panera, Burger King, or Subway, or have a meal delivered by Door Dash?    Do you wear clothes from Levi Strauss, the Gap, or Gucci?    Do you watch CNN, MTV, NBC, HBO, MSNBC, or Showtime?    Do you browse Tinder, Yelp, eBay, or Pinterest on a Microsoft computer with Comcast internet?    Do you shop at Costco? There are good alternatives to each and every one of the companies/products you listed.

You just have to care enough to look for them.

But whatever.

A good example of gun companies that turned around, from bad to good (but now I’m talking about quality of product, not politics) is Taurus. There are still people who won’t buy their guns because of crappy quality control in the past, but that was decades ago. When Taurus released the G2c pistol, every reviewer seemed astounded by how good it was (and at a great price!), often with a comment about the company’s earlier bad products.

J.galt

Taurus advocates gun control. I would never buy a Taurus or an S&W except on the secondary market. F’ those companies!!!

and when you are red fagged the nazis will be carrying S&W, Glock and Staccato loaded with Federal and Remington…….don’t give them $$$$$ until they go Ronnie Barret.

Blaming current owners, and holding them responsible for something the former owners did. Interesting… That’s like holding today’s population responsible for slave reparations, for something that they didn’t do, and that ended over 158 years go. We don’t need to invent extra villains in our fight to preserve the 2A. There’s plenty of real ones.
