I bought one of these in .38super several years ago. It quickly became my EDC – yeah, it’s that good. With nothing more than a barrel and recoil spring swap, I now also have a 9mm 1911 for range use. I bought a couple of 9mm mags, but the .38super mags work fine with either load.
Montana is correct in saying that there’s no reason to not have one, or two.
At that price $280 everyone should own a 1911 . I like the tactical model 1911 for a little more money .
