Younger gun owners now perceive the NRA as a “Fudd” organization, more focused on “sporting purposes” than on preservation of the Second Amendment as a natural right.
NRA-ILA Leadership Changes & Republicans Are in Trouble
America’s oldest Second Amendment News outlet.
His writing can regularly be seen in various publications including Firearms News, as well as here on AmmoLand Shooting Sports News.

Jeff leads The Firearms Coalition, a loose-knit coalition of individual Second Amendment activists, clubs and civil rights organizations, which was founded in 1984 by Jeff’s father, Neal Knox.
The organization provides support to grassroots activists in the form of education, analysis of current issues, strategic and tactical advice, and messaging assistance. Jeff’s decades of experience in the fight for rights gives him a unique perspective and historical foundation for all he does.
Younger gun owners now perceive the NRA as a “Fudd” organization, more focused on “sporting purposes” than on preservation of the Second Amendment as a natural right.
I really love that Cheryl, Danny, & I represent the second generation of leadership in the Second Amendment movement in our great state of Arizona.
This could be our last chance to vote in an NRA Board of Directors election. Unfortunately, there’s not really anyone to vote for…
The BATFE has released a letter to FFLs and the public, “clarifying” their new rules regarding so-called “80% receivers,” which were adopted earlier this year.
The sad reality is that a few people lose their minds, but some do. The number of people who experience total breakdown is, fortunately, a tiny fragment of the population.
It was already too short to allow the State Police to build, test, & implement a registration & permitting system. The deadline now is December 8th, 2022.
That’s just the sort of idiotic intersectional BS that prevents real solutions from being found and implemented. We’ve had enough of the blame games & distractions.
Now, with the clear evidence of 25 Constitutional Carry states, there’s no excuse for any politician to suggest calamitous results from liberalizing gun control laws.
So what can you do? As my mother always said: “If you can’t say something nice about the Republican, say something negative about the Democrat.”
We GunVoters must act in our own best interests. Like it or not, we live in a two-party system. One of those parties has declared all-out war on our rights.
Biden and the Democrats are Trolling GunVoters and the “right.” Don’t take their bait. Don’t give them bad behavior in response to inflammatory rhetoric. Hold the line.
As “military-style” arms are specifically identified as protected in the Court’s Miller decision, the matter should be considered pretty well settled.
For decades, some members of the Supreme Court have allowed politics and personal beliefs to encroach on the way they apply the Constitution.
You would think that chief Republican sellout, Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, would have gotten a clue when he was booed off the stage in his home state.
This week the Supreme Court has taken on two controversial Causes Célèbres of the left. Pray for the safety of all of the Justices. The crazy’s getting pretty deep.
It’s hard to imagine a scenario where Letitia James, the NRA-hating AG of New York, would turn out to be the NRA’s savior, but that’s how things are stacking up!?
Those controlling NRA are counting on Trump to talk about his “good friend” Wayne LaPierre’s virtues & political acumen & tell the crowd how lucky they are..
How much it is costing the Association – in money, trust, and influence – to keep LaPierre in power. Tell your NRA Directors to stop the madness.
An equally perplexing question is why the current NRA Board has so far not even attempted to rein in its rogue executives when they work for the board!?
My father often referred to leading the rights movement as an exercise akin to herding cats. It’s a demonstrable fact that GunVoters are an independent-minded bunch
Unfortunately, there are a whole lot of professional, “conservative,” campaign & political advisors who just don’t understand the 2nd Amendment & GunVoters…
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated…
Frank Tait is the only person on the ballot who has consistently called for & worked toward, full accountability on the part of the executives, staff, & NRA Board.
There’s no telling how this might end up, but the potential clearly exists for the NRA Foundation to be forced to sue the NRA out of existence.
Those who stand against the approved narrative must be punished to send a warning to anyone else who might dare to get in the way. Will you submit or will you resist?
Rights are not something that states “allow.” Rights are either recognized and respected, or they are infringed, suppressed, and violated.
There are no rules against coaching from the sidelines in US politics, so listen up GunVoters: The Play’s at First – Virginia!
NRA is a lost cause. The “leadership” has effectively shut out dissenting voices, ignored valid, serious concerns, promoted corruption and incompetence, and stifled member participation.
At this point, I see no chance of the Board doing anything at all to mitigate the coming disaster. For the NRA “the worst is yet to come.”
Unless the NRA Board took significant actions to root out corruption or malfeasance, the NY Attorney General & the courts would use the lack of action as proof that the Association is compromised.
