About:
Gun Owners’ Action League is the official state firearms association in Massachusetts. We are an association of law-abiding citizens who believe in the basic right of firearms ownership for competition, recreation and self-protection. GOAL works hard to defend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights against those in Massachusetts who wish to infringe upon the freedoms guaranteed by our forefathers. The programs sponsored and developed by Gun Owners’ Action League are supported by competitors, sportsmen, recreational shooters and law enforcement throughout the state. We were formed in 1974 to protect the right to keep and bear arms for lawful purposes in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We are recognized as the state’s premier gun rights association. www.goal.org

Vote Diehl for the Senate. Mass gun laws need attention. I was finally approved for a permit after waiting FIVE months.
The Town of Yarmouth now says that it is 2 to 3 weeks more weeks from the approval date of October 16. My application was submitted on May 16. This is a violation of my Second Amendment Rights and a travesty.
I understand GOAL has taken these police departments to task for missing the mark in an egregious manner.

I think my first question to Candidate Mark would be: “Do you think it’s natural and Constitutional for you to be required to be ‘licensed’ by der staten to own a firearm? And if not, how will you effect a change in that regulation?”
It seems that a Mass. Republican (a la Romney) is usually a little to the left of a Georgia Democrap! I wouldn’t put all my eggs in THAT basket!
