Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)-  On December 21 2015 Republican presidential hopeful Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) introduced legislation to render any executive action on guns impotent by rendering it “advisory only.”

According to The Hill, Paul’s legislation would apply to “any execution action on gun control that either infringes upon congressional authority or potentially violates the Second Amendment.”

Once labeled “advisory only,” the action would require Congressional passage before it could take effect. Paul’s legislation would also allow a “state official, member of Congress or person affected by an executive action on gun control to launch a civil lawsuit.”

The legislation is being “fast-tracked” through the Senate and is expected to be added to the Senate calendar and taken up once Senators return from recess.

Paul said, “In the United States, we do not have a king, but we do have a Constitution. We also have the Second Amendment, and I will fight tooth and nail to protect it.”

I agree with Keith, it’s a voter garnering piece of legislation and will go nowhere except to the admiration of many voters..

i think we really need to look at repealing the 16th and 17th amendments to the constitution and put the power in this country back where it belongs in the hands of “we the people” and out of the hands of the president and career politicians and some serious term limits for congress since they thought it was a great idea for the president i think they should also be allowed 2 terms in the house and one in the senate just my opinion but a radical shake up of how we do politics in this country is desperately needed

We all knew that “Obummer” was mad dog anti-gun in Chicago. What made anyone think he would change stripes and become pro-gun? He was only waiting for the polls to close on his 2nd election, in which fools re-elected him. When are we going to learn, once a gun grabber, always a gun grabber!!!???

When Cruz becomed president there will not be any gun control bill passed, he is pro gun and pro 2nd amendment. He will stop ISIS also, and hopefully, void all of king scumbamas orders.

It won’t pass the senate because mitch mcconnell is either an old woman or a gelding. Either way he is only interested in getting more DIVIDENDS FOR HIMSELF than doing anything for the country. All he ever does is roll over like an old dog and kiss obozo’s rear. The only difference between the bum from Kentucky and reid the bum from Nevada is the spelling of their name. Both are ANTI AMERICAN and should be prosecuted for illegal activities in both the senate and the public.

If Barry does it there must be the immediate filing for an injunction/stay and then get it to court ASAP. At the same time more legislation should be introduced to counter act the SOB. What happens to “kings” who are removed from office.
