USA – Today, the Senate State, Veterans, & Military Affairs Committee approved Senate Bill 7 by a 3-2 vote (Yes: Marble, Neville, and Scott – No: Court and Fenberg).

Thank you to Senator Vicki Marble for sponsoring Senate Bill 7.

SB 7 would repeal the misguided 2013 law that limited the amount of ammunition a firearm magazine can hold, now heads to the Senate floor where it will await a vote by the full chamber.

Please continue to contact your state Senator and state Representative and politely urge them to SUPPORT Senate Bill 7 when it comes up for a vote.

SB 7 would remove this restriction so that law-abiding Coloradans are not limited in their ability to protect themselves and their loved ones.

It is a nice idea, it will not happen , the house will kill it before the ink is dry. . The only way to get this passed is to restaff the house and some of the senate , starting with chickenlooper. Once you loose a right related to fire arms , you do not get them back if your leaders are Dumbocrates.

WA. state working on a BS Bill similar to this, plus Assault rifle ban, what they deem an “assault” rifle. WA. state turning into Commiefornia.

Alan

what, I wonder, do the voters, gun owners included, of Washington have to say about such foolishness

MLC7

Were going to get F***in screwed here in WA. Same old story big city (Seattle) liberals backed and funded by bleeding heart liberal corporations in our own back yard (Microsoft, StarBucks, Amazon, etc…) plus out of town money from Bloomberg. I’ve contacted my state representatives. Up until a few years ago this used to be a gun owner friendly states.

Possibly what is needed is a change of the cast of characters in the state legislature.

Interesting, however there still lurks the following question, at lest in my mind. How is it that the piece of legislative idiocy currently the subject of repeal discussion was ever enacted? My memory may have slipped a cog.

Trained police officers have needed over 100 rounds of ammo to take down 1 criminal. Why should an armed father or mother be restricted to anything less, especially since those officers aren’t exactly next to us 24 hours a day? Also, Hickenloser is California’s little female dog. Say no to the californification of Colorado.

Matt in Oklahoma

Awesome! Get Kolorado back to Colorado

What makes people think that “X” amount of ammo is only necessary to defend yourself and your family? Do not put an arbitrary number on what I can use to save my or my family’s life. CALIFORNIA are you listening?
