Having served in the Marines 29 years (1971-2000) I have a Mameluke sword, but have never heard of a Marine having this advertised sword, nor read of any combat in which a Marine had used such a sword as what is advertised. I had actually served with men who fought on Guadacanal. If someone has some information about the advertised sword, I would be pleased to see it.
