The primary design philosophy of the MOD 4 is robustness without a cumbersome form factor. By focusing on rigidity in the design of the 6061-T6 handguard and the utilization of a steel barrel nut, deflection under load has been drastically reduced which is instrumental in minimizing POI shift when using an IR laser aiming device. Quality of life improvements are featured in the construction, including a full-length, 7-sided MLOK™ interface and steel-reinforced QD Sockets. These features allow users to customize their build according to their preferences and the steel-reinforced QD sockets are a small but important detail, enhancing the sheer strength of the sockets and ensuring they do not wear prematurely when interfaced with standard steel QD sling attachments.
An additional highlight of the MOD 4 Handguards is the simplification of installation at the barrel nut. By making the barrel nut lug pattern match mil-spec castle nuts, the need for specialty tools has been removed, as has the need for timing. MOD 4 handguards are designed to match seamlessly with our M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers and components from the PRO series. They are also compatible with Mil-Spec AR-15 receivers, and to add redundancy and ensure a more tailored fit when using third-party upper receivers, two anti-rotation set screws have been included. The MOD 4 handguard comes in three anodized colors—black, Kodiak brown, and OD green—and is available in lengths of 9.1”, 10.6”, 11.4”, 12.7”, 13.5”, and 15”.

Great idea for a product! I also validates comments I made over ten years ago on gun forums that aluminum handguards were flexible – which is also borne out that no scope maker warrants their optic to bridge the upper rail to handguard rail, either. Much damage could apparently result.
A credible reviewer should explore that and demonstrate how much less they move around, say, compared to the KAC M4 rail or other issued handguards.
