This week, at a dancing school in Southport, UK, a teenage boy with a“large butcher knife” precipitously attacked a group of seven preadolescent girls, killing three.
Two girls died at the scene. A third died a short time later at a local hospital. The others were all critically injured and are still hospitalized.
Unarmed adults tried to intervene, but they were also stabbed and seriously injured.
Police and ambulances arrived …eventually.
The single perpetrator was located and arrested. His name and all information on his background are “being withheld.”
We’re immediately assured that this was “not a terrorist incident,” but that’s what they always say, and many are unconvinced!
Comment:
One must jump through interminable hoops in the UK in order to so much as purchase a common kitchen knife.
UK authorities are now excitedly expressing concern about “ghost knives!”
Curious that endless volumes of these fussy “regulations” imposed upon UK citizens, as well as all the tax-payer-funded, heavily-armed bodyguards who surround UK politicians everywhere they go; All of that did nothing to protect these innocent little girls!
And now, as grieving families contend with their loss, cloistered politicians are busy dreaming up yet more suffocating Stalinesk “rules” they can heap upon a weary public, all of which will continue to be contemptuously ignored by criminals and terrorists (as they were yesterday).
There is no “safety” when citizens are prevented by law from taking effective unilateral action to protect themselves and their children.
Obviously, naive, unenforceable “knife control” doesn’t work in the UK any more than “gun control” works here in the USA!

Self defense is a right given by God, but taken away by Godless government, who reserve violence for themselves, and their criminal pets.
The UK has taken the experiment past the point of absurdity, with horrific consequences. Any imbecile can put an edge and a point on a piece of scrap metal – and other materials. We must fight tooth and nail to not just keep their counterparts here from taking us any farther down this road, but to head back in the direction of sanity.
A good place to start would be deporting all the middle eastern and sub-Saharan and muslim immigrants.
Its hard to feel sorry for a populace that allows their ability to protect themselves from evil people to be willingly taken away. Tyranny allowed is Tyranny deserved.

Sure – I don’t buy statement that attack was not terrorism. May not have been motivated by politics, religion or race — but any parent anywhere will be terrified of their daughters being attacked, particularly when we are not there to intervene.
Hope they impose death sentence (though being the UK they won’t) as any animal who would do something like this will never be safe in society. Treat him like a rabid dog – only difference being that we understand dog’s behavior is due to disease and may miss the pet we had.
Eventually they will get around to banning sticks, stones and rocks.
With a service life almost indefinite, one estimate has 5 billion knives in active service across the world.
hey Farnam a better word instead of precipitously would be aggressively, so we don’t have to get out the dictionary, aggressively and brutally attacked would of sounded better. i have noticed many writers going to there thesauruses, good write, those subjects have been brain washed from birth, thank the Lord we kicked them out 250 years ago
