In a bold move, the House Oversight Committee, led by Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), has issued subpoenas to both the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). The subpoenas target the alleged collaboration between the Biden administration and gun control groups, centered around the high-profile lawsuit City of Chicago v. Glock.
The investigation focuses on claims that the White House pressured Glock to modify its pistols to make illegal modifications, such as auto sears that turn handguns into fully automatic weapons, more difficult. The House Oversight Committee is particularly concerned about a private December 2023 meeting between the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention and Glock representatives, where these modifications were discussed.
According to Chairman Comer, these actions suggest possible ethical violations, including collusion between the administration and anti-Second Amendment groups.
The Committee also points to John Feinblatt, President of Everytown for Gun Safety, as having “insider knowledge” of the discussions between Glock and the White House, as indicated by Feinblatt’s social media post following the filing of the lawsuit. This raised red flags for the Committee, prompting the subpoenas in an effort to uncover the full extent of the collaboration between the administration and gun control advocates.
Chairman Comer’s letters to both White House Office Director Stefanie Feldman and ATF Director Steven Dettelbach highlight the Committee’s frustration over the administration’s failure to comply with earlier requests for documents. The Committee first asked for these records in June 2024, including communications between the White House, ATF, and gun control groups like Everytown for Gun Safety regarding topics such as “auto sear” devices and illegal modifications of Glock pistols.
NSSF, the firearms industry trade association, expressed its support for the subpoenas, echoing concerns about the White House’s use of taxpayer-funded resources to push an anti-Second Amendment agenda. Senior Vice President Lawrence G. Keane accused the administration of engaging in “lawfare,” using the courts to attack the gun industry under the guise of public safety.
Both the White House and ATF have, until now, refused to release the requested communications.
Chairman Comer’s subpoenas demand that they produce all relevant documents from September 2023 to the present. As the investigation continues, the release of these documents is expected to shed light on whether the administration and gun control groups acted in concert to undermine Second Amendment rights.
The subpoenas signify a significant escalation in the battle between the Biden administration and gun rights advocates. As this case develops, it is likely to become a key issue in the ongoing debate over gun rights and the role of government in regulating firearms.
For gun owners, this news highlights the importance of remaining vigilant in defending Second Amendment rights. With powerful groups working to restrict firearms, this investigation by the Oversight Committee may reveal critical information about the true nature of the administration’s gun control efforts.
Americans should be deeply concerned about government overreach and its potential to undermine constitutionally protected freedoms.

Nothing to see here , just life long criminals committing more crimes at the expense of the American people .
Hell, Ray Charles could see the collusion coming.
All the documents and paperwork will suddenly ” disappear”, just like in the Kennedy assassination.
There was a fire,
mice ate the papers,
there was a water line leak and it dripped on the papers,
and no one knows where the papers and files are, they just ” vanished”.
I agree with the following statement: “For gun owners, this news highlights the importance of remaining vigilant in defending Second Amendment rights. With powerful groups working to restrict firearms, this investigation by the Oversight Committee may reveal critical information about the true nature of the administration’s gun control efforts.”
HOWEVER, no matter how VIGILANT One IS, when the government is controlled by the DEMENTED RADICALIZED LEFT LEANING POLITICIANS, the ANTI-SECOND AMENDMENT LAWS GET PASSED against The RIGHTS of LEGAL LAW ABINDING AMERICAN CITIZENS!
Why am I not surprised?
Arm up and carry on
Comer talks well… Never does seem to do much more than that though.
