The great and powerful @elonmusk.
If it wasn’t for him we’d be fucked. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.
For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump.

The death of Peanut the Squirrel, an Instagram-famous pet murdered by New York state wildlife officials, has ignited a national conversation about government overreach, individual rights, and the fundamental importance of the Second Amendment.
It turns out Peanut was more than just a pet; he was a symbol of personal freedom and the bond between humans and animals. His unjust death at the hands of rogue government authorities isn’t just about the loss of a beloved animal—it’s a glaring example of how far government intrusion can go into our personal lives.
This tragic loss echoes the arguments that Second Amendment supporters have been making for years.
The government’s ability to overstep its bounds doesn’t stop at firearms; it permeates every aspect of our lives if left unchecked. When the state can seize and euthanize a harmless pet without sufficient justification, it raises serious questions about how much control we’re willing to surrender.
Elon Musk, a staunch advocate for free speech and individual liberties, recently vigorously defended the Second Amendment at a Trump rally. He emphasized that the right to bear arms isn’t about hunting or sport shooting; it’s a safeguard against tyranny. It’s the insurance policy that protects all our other freedoms. Musk’s passionate defense resonates with many who are concerned about increasing governmental control over our lives—from restrictions on free speech to personal choices like pet ownership.

Joe Rogan’s endorsement of Donald Trump further amplifies this sentiment. Rogan, a prominent voice with a massive following, expressed his concerns over government control and the erosion of individual freedoms. In the comments section of his endorsement post, numerous memes emerged that mirror themes long held by Second Amendment advocates:
- “The Squirrels Have Spoken”: One meme featured an image of Peanut wearing a miniature Revolutionary War-era tricorne hat, holding a tiny flag that read “Don’t Tread on Me.” This mirrors the iconic Gadsden flag adopted by Second Amendment supporters, symbolizing resistance against government oppression.
- “Armed and Nuts”: Another meme showed a group of squirrels wielding acorns like grenades, captioned “When they come for one of us, they come for all of us.” This reflects the solidarity among those who champion the right to keep and bear arms, emphasizing that an attack on one liberty is an attack on all.
- “Peanut Didn’t Need a Permit”: A third meme depicted Peanut flexing tiny muscles, with the text “Exercising my rights without a license.” This satirizes the notion of requiring permits to exercise constitutional rights, a common critique among Second Amendment supporters who argue that such rights are inherent and shouldn’t be regulated by the government.
These meme warriors not only added a layer of humor to a serious situation but also highlighted the deep-seated concerns about government overreach. They serve as modern-day political cartoons, boiling down complex ideas in simple imagery that is funny AF.
The outrage over Peanut’s death isn’t about a pet squirrel; it’s about the principle of individual liberty.

When the government starts dictating what pets we can or can’t own, what opinions we can’t express, or how we can defend ourselves and what guns we use, it sets a dangerous precedent that threatens all our freedoms.
Freedom haters will argue that equating the Second Amendment with the right to own a pet squirrel is a stretch. But it’s not about the specifics; it’s about the fundamental principle of personal freedom. The same governmental overreach that can unjustly take away a harmless pet can also infringe upon our right to bear arms—a right that protects all others.
The way Peanut’s death has been politicized also highlights the death of mainstream media. Instead of uniting over a shared concern for individual rights, some walking-dead media outlets have mocked or downplayed the incident, focusing on trivial details rather than the broader implications. This dismissive attitude only fuels the frustration and distrust American’s feel toward institutions that are supposed to safeguard our liberties.
The convergence of these events—Rogan’s endorsement, Musk’s advocacy, and the uproar over Peanut—highlights a crazy moment in our national discourse. It reminds us that the rights enshrined in the Constitution are interconnected, and the erosion of one can lead to the weakening of others.
Are you paying attention? The drum outlets like AmmoLand News have been pounding for years surrounding the Second Amendment, government overreach, and personal liberties are not abstract concepts reserved for politicians and pundits. They have real-world consequences that affect our daily lives. Peanut the Squirrel may seem like an unlikely symbol, but his story encapsulates the fears and frustrations of tired patriots wary of losing control over their own lives.
It’s time to recognize the patterns unfolding before us. Second Amendment supporters’ arguments aren’t just about guns; they’re about preserving the fundamental freedoms that define us as a free nation. We must continue to fight through the noise, challenge at every turn overbearing government, and safeguard the rights that allow us to live freely and authentically.
And always remember to stay Heavily Armed and dangerous if only for the sake of your pets.

Death to tyrants.
STAY THE F++K away from wildlife and quit trying to domesticate them.. wildlife is dispatched all the time over this issue… this article sounds like a left wing nut job wrote it. maybe he did.
Love the picture of Trump holding an AR in front of three squirrels.
I love my dogs. I’ve promised them all I’d protect them. It’d be horrible to have to die in a blaze of gun fire to protect my dogs from the government. I feel horrid for the squirrel, raccoon and the dude that owned them but this is what leftists do.
What happened to Fred the raccoon. No mention of him. He was a pet too. The government murdered two animals that day.
Our government is purely out of control.
