Instant “Operator” Just add a gun!
Many naively imagine that by buying and carrying a gun, they will suddenly be able to handle critical, life-threatening incidents effectively.
It reminds me of the notion that buying a pair of expensive running shoes instantly prepares one to enter a marathon!
The brutal fact is that poor preparation and even poorer mindset will inevitably lead to poor outcomes.
For aspiring Operators, deadly-force options need to be integrated with less-lethal force (OC), verbal commands, and aggressive disengagement.
It all needs to be thoroughly rehearsed and exercised (through competent training) so that there is some chance of a satisfactory outcome when “full-on medieval” suddenly arrives, absent any kind of warning or invitation.
It all begins with “audaciously claiming your own magnificence.”
Flashy, stylized martial arts, combined with clever lines, may look impressive in movies, but neither were present on battlefields of yore, for good reason.
Genuine use-of-force training is neither glamorous nor “fun” nor entertaining, but it is critical for bona fide Operators.
“Sisu” is a Finnish term worth pondering. It embodies icy determination, tenacity, bravery, resilience, daring, audacity, and prudence.
Where danger is present and a good outcome appears unlikely, Sisu expresses itself in boldly taking unilateral action- against the odds, displaying courage and righteous determination.
Our civilization is currently characterized by an utter absence of personal accountability, which has resulted in a more-or-less permanent crime wave.
Modern “progressive” politicians have scant interest in protecting anyone but themselves, ever rendering interminable excuses for their continuing failure.
Only fools believe them. Only consummate fools rely on them!

I’ve had four of John’s classes, and they are well worth the time and money. It’s no BS, reality based content and a better $ deal than three or four hours with a defense attorney… or a funeral.
I would say with what these bureaucrat clowns have done with the price of ammo they do not want us to be proficient with our firearms . They are making it tough to practice with current ammo prices . Shipping all the raw material production to China has been a bad deal for American gun owners .
