I, Timothy Knight, stand in full support of John Richardson for a seat on the NRA Board of Directors.
John Richardson has been an invaluable voice for NRA members, consistently [since 2010] using his platform at “No Lawyers – Only Guns and Money” to share critical insights that others might hesitate to voice. His dedication to transparency and accountability within the NRA is not just commendable; it’s essential. John has a history of calling out questionable practices, advocating for reform, and ensuring that the NRA operates in the best interest of its members rather than a select elite.

His coverage of pivotal moments, such as the 2019 NRA Annual Meeting, where he reported on resolutions challenging the organization’s leadership, showcases his dedication to holding the NRA accountable. John’s work has informed members about the inner workings of the NRA, offering perspectives that are vital for an informed membership base.
John’s approach to the board elections, where he notably endorsed candidates like Frank Tait, reflects his commitment to electing individuals who genuinely represent the members’ interests. His decision not to endorse in the 2023 election due to the lack of reform candidates further demonstrates his integrity and dedication to the cause, not just to politics within the organization.
Moreover, John’s professional background in providing straightforward advice on financial and retirement planning mirrors his approach to his involvement with the NRA – always about clarity, truth, and serving the people. He always understood his fiduciary duty to put the client’s interest first.
As someone who has challenged the status quo within the NRA, I see in John Richardson a kindred spirit who understands that the organization must be by the members, for the members.
His election to the board would ensure that the NRA continues to be guided by those who are not afraid to speak truth to power and advocate for the principles and members of this great organization.

John is a man of integrity. Given a chance, he and the other reformers may be able to restore the NRA. VOTE FOR JOHN. Help make the NRA successful once again.
The NRA might get peoples support back when the quit ” negotiating rights away” and ripping off the money for their own gain .
I turned away from the NRA 2 years ago. In that time, I have seen nothing to prove to me they intend reform. I sacrificed my training creds and moved my donations to more transparent and effective gun rights organizations. When I see true reform and downsizing of the board, I will re-evaluate. I have no interest in sacrificing my inflated cash for this group of thieves.
Let Negotiating Rights Away go the way of the doe doe bird. Let’s move on to legitimate 2A groups, that don’t compromise our rights, and aren’t corrupt. What’s the goal anyways? Defending and expanding the Second Amendment or saving a dinosaur that wants to kill itself?
