Tucson Bus Stop Attack on Child, Attacker a Well Known Danger & Still Was Free? ~ VIDEO

Opinion

“EDP,” (for “Emotionally Disturbed Person”)

A week ago in Tucson, AZ, an innocent thirteen-year-old girl, who had just departed her middle-school in order to board a city bus, was approached by an “EDP.”

He was mumbling incoherently.

This EDP then precipitously attacked the girl, grabbing her and striking her several times. She was able to escape and run back to her school, but sustained injuries to her head and knees.

This man (subsequently arrested) is well-known to local police. He is violent and vicious. He has been arrested numerous times for similar violent criminal offenses, including numerous felonious assaults, arsons, armed robberies, et al.

Yet, in each case he was found “incompetent to stand trial,” charges were all dismissed, and he was thereafter simply turned-loose. No incarceration, no penalty of any kind.

There is little doubt the same thing will happen this time, and he will predictably re-offend before the ink is even dry on the release documents! The frustrated prosecutor in this case asked for bail high enough to keep him in jail for a while, but the judge immediately reduced it.

It is clear that leftist, pro-criminal city and state officials, including judges, think they have no obligation to protect citizens, even innocent children!

These same officials are well aware of this violent crime problem that they have deliberately manufactured and continue to smugly advance. They know all about open drug use, and enormous numbers of homeless and illegal immigrants, many unstable and violent, as we see.

They ought to know. They promote it!

Yet, from their affluent and well-protected ivory towers, high levels of violent crime are to them little more than occasional topics for quaint conversation. Desperate complaints from frightened citizens are greeted with casual yawns and sometimes contemptuous sneers.

“EDPs” (aka: “the mentally ill”) is a grotesque umbrella term designed to fabricate the false impression that these people are harmless. The truth is that a significant percentage are gravely unstable and extremely dangerous, as we see.

A single minor offense may be viewed with some degree of understanding. Still, multiple violent offenders need to be permanently removed from society, institutionalized for the safety of everyone (regardless of their ostensible “mental condition”).

Of course, those who live privileged lives and are surrounded by taxpayer-funded bodyguards need not take any of this seriously, and they don’t!

These pseudo-sanctimonious Marxists are deeply invested personally in depravity, deceit, and hypocrisy, and that is the reason sincere repentance is ever beyond their grasp.

Decency and truth are not in them.

Never will be!

End qualified immunity. Make the judges and prosecutors liable for their decisions which lead to innocent people getting robbed, raped, beaten and murdered.
Let the families of the victims sue the woke judges and prosecutors into oblivion.

if they are not mentally capable of standing trial then they shouldn’t be standing in public.
in arizona there should be enough law-abiding citizens willing to protect those children.

The article offers no solutions other than to take some DTI training.
One of my Rules is to never complain without offering a solution.
Problem; Homeless EDP repeatedly attacks innocent people.
Solution; Lock him up in a work farm or other institution, permanently. If he can survive on the street, then he can perform some task that will earn him the credit to eat. If he doesn’t work, he doesn’t eat. Problem solved either way.

Under the law, if he’s “incompetent to stand trial” he cannot be held in the Criminal Justice system. He could, however, be involuntarily committed to an institution – if decades of government defunding hadn’t closed most such places. What are left are very few places with very few beds and those get reserved for the worst cases. The liberals believe most of them should simply be turned-loose with “medication” to keep them under control, not admitting that there’s a problem with getting them to continue taking their meds when not forced to do so. The government won’t pay to keep… Read more »

In the old days in this part of the country, a group of private citizens would get together and remove the danger from society. End of problem.

John Farnam- Good article. I remember reading a news artice awhile back, about a Nascar race car driver, who was in San Diego at a gas station filling his car up with gas, when a homeless man walked up to him, pulled out a knife and stabbed him to death! Turns out, it was the second one this homeless man had done that day and police were looking for him. I’ve had strange people come up to me at different gas stations and asking if I have a extra $10 or $20 so they can put gas in their car… Read more »

If the Girl’s parents were directly involved, they would do the right thing. The Government people are not directly involved, so they do not do the right thing. I would do the right thing.
