The machined steel barrel is micro-threaded and carefully inserted into the alloy frame. This insures an optimal barrel to cylinder gap that gives you the maximum performance out of your ammunition. The cylinder lock-up is solid and tight, with perfect action timing to put the shots right where you want them. It has a rear sight notch machined into the frame and a reliable front sight blade to get you on target. An authentic looking simulated case hardened frame finish is paired with a blued barrel/cylinder finish and beautiful cocobolo wood grips, making the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. Would like to see Heritage and Ruger bring out their revolvers in 25 Stevens rimfire.
Henry, Savage, Winchester could chamber their rimfire lever action rifles for the 25 Stevens.
A 65 grain bullet at 1250 fps.
Hiornady and Federal could make ammo.
Ruger couldvmake a version of the 10/22 in 25 Stevens and call it the 10/25 rifle !
I’m sure the 25 Stevens rifle and revolvers would sell a lot more than Winchester 21

POS. It used to be 22lr and 22mag but the cylinders for mag kept cracking and they would not warranty them. I have one but if I were in a pinch, I would save my bucks and buy something worth shooting like an older 22LR Smith and Wesson. Lasts a lifetime and only increases in value.
