Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select: SWBI), a leader in firearm manufacturing and design, today announces the release of the new Lipsey’s Exclusive UC J-Frame revolvers.
Designed for everyday self-defense, these J-Frames represent the ideal lightweight and performance-focused revolver carry platform. Starting with the first pair, chambered in .32 H&R Magnum, Models 432-UC and 632-UC feature a 6-round capacity, a 1.88-inch stainless-steel barrel, and an aluminum alloy frame, resulting in an overall weight of 15.6 ounces. Models 442-UC and 642-UC also feature a 1.88-inch stainless-steel barrel and aluminum alloy frame, are chambered in .38 Special +P, offer a 5-round capacity and have a slightly lighter overall weight of 15.3 ounces. Depending on your preferred aesthetic, you can choose between the sleek all-black look of the 432-UC and 442-UC or the more classic matte stainless-steel finish of the 632-UC and 642-UC.
Out of the box, all four of these no-lock revolvers come with an enhanced internals Endurance Package to improve both performance and durability, a fluted stainless-steel cylinder with chamfered charge holes for easier loading, and an XS Sights® Yellow Tritium front sight and a black dovetail u-notch rear sight for improved sight acquisition. Furthermore, these models are equipped with the newly designed Smith & Wesson enhanced J-Frame synthetic boot grip. This grip features additional material around the tang for better recoil absorption and strategically placed textured panels along the sides for increased control.
