KelTec Introduces the All-New PR-3AT

Thirty-five years ago, KelTec introduced the P-3AT and helped define what a truly concealable defensive pistol could be. That design reshaped the market, and its influence can still be seen across the firearms industry today. As KelTec celebrates its 35th Anniversary, the company announced the official launch of the all-new KelTec PR-3AT™—now shipping—along with the expansion of the KelTec website, a new way for customers to access the KelTec brand.

Founded in 1991 by inventor George Kellgren, KelTec has built its reputation on innovative, purpose-driven firearm design. After 35 years, Kellgren remains actively involved in engineering new firearms, and the PR-3AT represents his latest evolution of the ultra-compact defensive pistol, refined through decades of experience and real-world feedback.

Chambered in .380 ACP, the KelTec PR-3AT is designed to be the everyday-carry pistol for everyone. Simple, approachable, and effective for a wide range of shooters. It features a locked-breech, rotating barrel system paired with a top-loading stripper clip design, allowing for a slim, ultra-compact profile while maintaining high on-board capacity and controllable recoil.

The PR-3AT is available in two capacity configurations—13+1 or 10+1—allowing users to tailor the platform to their individual carry needs. The 13+1 configuration maximizes capacity in a compact form, while the 10+1 configuration further reduces the pistol’s profile, creating an ultra-concealable option ideal for deep concealment, for those prioritizing the smallest possible carry footprint.

With minimal controls and intuitive, point-and-click operation, the PR-3AT reflects Kellgren’s long-standing design philosophy: remove unnecessary complexity, focus on function, and build firearms that work for everyday people.

“Thirty-five years ago, we set the standard for truly concealable defensive pistols,” said George Kellgren, Founder and Chief Designer of KelTec. “The PR-3AT is the next step in that evolution and it takes everything we’ve learned and applies it to an everyday-carry pistol that is simple, reliable, and effective.”

“Many people have carried the original P-3AT. Many still do, and many carry a copy,” said Parker Rosenberger, Director of Business Development at KelTec. “The PR-3AT brings the original inventor back to the category he created and raises the standard once again.”

“Having our founder still designing firearms after 35 years is incredibly rare in this industry,” said Derek Kellgren, Co-Owner of KelTec. “The PR-3AT isn’t a throwback; it’s a forward-looking design that shows KelTec is still pushing boundaries.”

“The design that defined a category has evolved,” added Adrian Kellgren, Co-Owner of KelTec. “The PR-3AT continues our father’s approach to innovation while meeting the expectations of today’s concealed-carry market.”

Expanding Access Through the KelTec Website

During SHOT Show 2026, KelTec also announced an expansion of its website designed to improve customer access to KelTec products and factory offerings.

This new functionality allows customers who may have difficulty finding KelTec products through traditional retail channels to more easily locate select firearms, factory-exclusive items, and limited offerings directly through KelTec’s website, while maintaining full compliance with all federal and state regulations.

The enhanced purchasing experience is supported by GrabAGun Digital Holdings Inc. (“GrabAGun”) (NYSE: PEW) through its PEW Logistics solution, providing secure fulfillment, regulatory compliance, and customer service infrastructure.

“This allows us to connect more directly with our customers while staying true to who we are as a company,” said Parker Rosenberger, Director of Business Development at KelTec Weapons. “It’s about accessibility, experience, and continuing to evolve how people interact with the KelTec brand.”

“Expanding how people discover and engage with KelTec strengthens our connection to customers and supports the next chapter of growth for our family-owned business,” said Adrian Kellgren, Co-Owner of KelTec Weapons.

“We are proud to collaborate with KelTec on this initiative,” said Marc Nemati, CEO of GrabAGun. “KelTec is one of the most innovative manufacturers in the firearms industry, and this is supported by the same logistics, compliance expertise, and customer-focused service that GrabAGun is known for.”

Select configurations of the KelTec PR-3AT, along with factory-exclusive offerings, will be accessible through the KelTec website as part of this expanded customer access initiative.
