Las Vegas, NV –-(Ammoland.com)- We are excited for Shot Show's Media Day at the Range today, Monday, Jan. 16. I'd like to invite you to put your trigger finger on some of Colt's new 2012 firearms.

At this year's Media Day, you'll have the opportunity to fire Colt's New Frontier Single Action Army revolver with a 7.5-inch barrel. Colt's newest high performing pocket pistol, the .380 Mustang Pocketlite, will be ready to shoot, as well as the newest addition to Colt's standard-setting Gold Cup competition series pistols, the Gold Cup National Match. Also at the handgun range will be two 1911 pistols from the Colt Custom Shop, a Special Combat Government and a Special Combat Officer's Model.

Colt will have several new rifles available to see and shoot, including the highly anticipated multi-caliber LE901-16S. This versatile rifle will be at the range chambered for both .308 Win and .223 Rem, so you can shoot it in the caliber of your choice. Also at the range on Media Day will be Colt's LE6920SOCOM, the closest rifle civilians can get to what Colt currently packages for the U.S. Military, as well as the tactically effective LE6940P, advanced piston operated carbine. Also on hand will be Colt's tried-and-true 6920, outfitted with Magpul furniture.

Special this year, Colt is offering the opportunity to see and shoot the historical model 1877 Bulldog Gatling gun. This tripod-mounted, museum quality gun was the first rear crank gun that Gatling ever produced and has incredible accuracy at 500 yards. Don't miss your opportunity to fire this unique reproduction.

We'll also have Colt's 2012 media kit on hand for you to take home with you, which includes our 2012 catalog and price list, high and low resolution product images and news releases.

Looking forward to seeing you at the range!
