US Patent and Trademark Office Issues Patent for the Quick-Shot Quick-Shot_male model Shotgun and Rifle Holster.
Lakeway, TX –-(Ammoland.com)- The USPTO has officially issued patent number 8,540,126 for the Quick-Shot Shotgun and Rifle Holster.
Inventors and avid sportsmen Steve and Richard Kawamoto conceived the Quick-Shot in 2007 during preparations for a North Dakota pheasant hunting trip.
With the help of designer and company co-founder James Lua, several years of field testing, and over 20 design iterations, the Quick-Shot patent was filed.
The Quick-Shot is designed to support a shotgun in a person's normal “ready” carrying/holding position, relieve up to 75% of arm fatigue and maintain the firearm in a safe upward position. The patented universal ambidextrous design allows the holster to be positioned anywhere on the left, right or center of a person's waist to accommodate each person's preferred method of carry. Several Quick-Shot models are currently marketed including the popular All-Weather Synthetic versions in black or Mossy Oak Duck Blind camo, as well as two All USA-made Premium Leather models.
