Las Vegas, NV -(Ammoland.com) – The all-new 2016 Nissan TITAN XD made its West Coast show debut at the Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) in Las Vegas.

TITAN Chief Product Specialist Rich Miller revealed the truck to hundreds of outdoors-specializing media members – a group that appreciates a rugged truck. The SolarFlare Yellow 2016 TITAN XD PRO-4X is located in booth #4367 at the Sands Expo Center.

The new TITAN XD is an exceptionally capable truck ready for its next adventure. Equipped with a number of features outdoorsmen will find helpful when hauling gear, the all-new TITAN will offer a maximum payload more than 2,000 pounds* (when properly equipped). Features such as LED Bed Rail Lighting, lockable in-bed storage, tailgate illumination, spray-on bedliner and two-way tailgate assist will help while loading and unloading hunting and fishing gear alike.

Additional available TITAN XD utility features and convenience aids include RearView Monitor with Trailer Guides, Around View Monitor (AVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD) and a Trailer Light Check system that allows one-person hook-up operation – including checking turn signals, brake lights and running/clearance lights from outside the vehicle. Also available are Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and a Front and Rear Sonar System.

Powered by a new Cummins 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel rated at 310 horsepower and hefty 555 lb-ft of torque, the 2016 TITAN XD will offer an available maximum towing capacity of more than 12,000 pounds* (when properly equipped), along with available cutting-edge towing features such as an integrated gooseneck hitch engineered into the frame.

The new TITAN XD, the first of the new-generation of Nissan TITAN models, creates a new segment of the American market. It offers the effortless towing and hauling of the larger, more expensive heavy-duty trucks – yet has the fuel-efficiency and affordability of half-ton pickups. The TITAN made its world debut earlier this month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and is projected to go on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide in late 2015.

The wide range of available interior features includes front and rear NASA-inspired Zero Gravity seats and a large center console designed to serve as a mobile workstation. Rear seating folds to uncover ample-sized storage bins and a fold-flat floor. Rockford Fosgate premium audio helps keep driver and passengers entertained while on the road.

“Toughness, capability and quality are attributes the new TITAN delivers on,” said Miller. “I was raised with trucks, and anything short of that simply won’t work out on the trail or jobsite. The new TITAN is as rugged as they come.”

In addition to a range of cab configurations, the TITAN lineup will ultimately encompass multiple powertrain choices, including a gasoline V8 and V6. The all-new TITAN, like the first-generation Titan, was developed with core Nissan planning, design, engineering and manufacturing teams contributing from Tennessee, California, Michigan, Arizona and Mississippi.

The new TITAN XD Crew Cab is the first of three cab configurations, two frame sizes, three powertrain offerings and five grade levels to be available later in the Nissan TITAN lineup. More information on the full lineup will be available at a later date.

If Nisan adds real value and quality like stainless exhaust and at least chrome coated suspensions
i’m in for 50k$ otherwise they can rot on the vine like the rest of them
hopefully they have learned their lesson from the first Titan
all the lights and gizmos but it better include above mentioned items or they will not sell very well
if they take the greed route they will whither
give the people a compelling reason to want one
diesel is nice but not enough for me
50k$ waiting for the right truck
