An almost smirking chairman of the JCS, dressed in a perfectly-pressed class-A uniform continues to downplay threats posed by Islamic jihadis.
He is the perfect background/wallpaper stooge for BHO!
“The dogs of war” is a familiar phrase from Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar.”
“Cry Havoc, and let slip the dogs of war!”
The order, “Havoc,” was a signal given to English military forces of the Middle Ages. It directed soldiers to move forward and utterly destroy the enemy.
The chairman’s current orders are obviously to keep our dogs of war confined, continually defenseless, disarmed, and ever-shrinking.
Otherwise, he might actually be required to become a bona-fide warrior, a dynamic leader, a dedicated, determined, and ruthless destroyer of our enemies.
Instead, he and those of his ilk are content to be political marionettes, wearing pretty, class-A uniforms and functioning mostly as wallpaper for endless political diatribes on the part of administration gas-bags.
We never see any in field uniforms, nor, heaven-forbid, actually carrying weapons!
Under the current administration, who today is elevated to the rank of general is a political, rather than a combat, officer. But, what can one expect with a military overseen by grandiloquent “veterans” only of university faculty lounges?
The liberal mind is unfailingly ambivalent in the face of evil. Liberals predictably falter, blame others, make excuses, and whine, but never take personal responsibility, never lead, never prepare, never fight, for that matter, never really live!

Stuffed suits and yes-men… Obozo has been purging our military of warriors and replacing them with liberal politicians for over 6-years now!
When you look at a general’s “fruit salad” of medals and ribbons, never forget that only the first 6, if that many, count for anything heroic. Most of them say “been there, got the ribbon (but no t-shirt).
What was the purpose of this article? For the author to dicksize and show that he can quote Shakespeare or is he just complaining that people wear dress blues? Since he can’t differentiate between a Class A uniform and dress blues, this piece with no real point just comes off as someone who never wore the uniform in full envy of those that do.
Don’t forget that those officers he is complaining about, and fulfilling their oath, have spent decades wearing what the author woild consider to be a more appropriate uniform.
The “Class A uniform” the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs is a Army Dress Blue uniform. For formal occasions. Darned shame the Chairman isn’t 25 years old so he could look sharp in the “Battle Dress” uniform which means fatigues to us old soldiers. And War is good business for the corporations that are “too big to fail”. Nothing like constant and unwinable Wars all the time. And you’ll never hear the words ‘Onward Christian Soldiers’. Under the Politically Correct ‘rules of engagement’ those words may offend or enrage certain people. And never ever compare what is happening in the World today to the ‘Crusades’.
True in peacetime, politically incorrect warriors such as Patton and McArthur are cast aside, but the politicians run back to them as soon as the shooting starts. Although today the barbarians are banging on the White House gates and there seems to be no response.
