Easton, MD – -(Ammoland.com)- Kinetic Development Group (KDG) is proud to announce the debut of two new sling mounting solutions for the FHN SCAR rifles – the KRQP and FAQP.

Sometimes there is no solution available for a problem. Other times available solutions are subpar. This is exactly the sort of situation KDG thrives on.

We set out to engineer stronger, lighter and more logical products for today’s modern shooter. Before our designs get programmed into the CNC, we stop to ask ourselves a few questions.

  • Would we use this product on our own personal rifles?
  • What advantages does our design hold?
  • Does it even make sense to make?

There are a lot of questions we consider before a product is finalized, much less manufactures. There is no sense in putting out a product if you do not believe in them yourself. We know our company’s products maybe going into harms way, so would we trust our own lives on the design? Our unwavering standard of quality ensures the answer is always yes.

It is in keeping with this philosophy that we are proud to introduce the Kinetic Front and Rear QD Points.

When the current in service SCAR platform was finalized in 2005 by the US military, QD swivels were not as popular as we all know they are today. Back then, “HK” style loops were required and used by the intended end users of the SCAR platform. 10 years later, we thought it was time for a proper update.

Most shooters using the SCAR have struggled with different sling mounting solutions. The KDG designed Front Ambidextrous QD point (FAQP) mount is a deceivingly simple superiorly designed solution for any SCAR owner. The Front Ambi QD Point replaces the existing factory “HK” point piece with a QD mounting point on either side of the rifle.  We specifically wanted a more rugged, streamlined mount that is failure proof and looks more like a factory part then a bulbous aftermarket accessory. You can be confident that the FAQP mount will outperform our competition. You will look at the lines and style of your rifle so well you’ll wonder why the SCAR wasn’t designed with it!

The FAQP also provides an excellent location to index your support hand thumb if you use a more forward grip on your scar rifle platform. The swivel sockets are rotation limited to eliminate annoying sling tangle, and present a very minimal profile on each side of your forearm to remain snag-free.

Installation takes only 5 minutes, and only requires removal of the barrel assembly. With limited tools and mechanical ability, assembly is so easy a caveman can do it.

Our company is staffed with shooters that love the SCAR platform, so we made sure the backend of the rifle got some loving as well. Since the factory stock and backend of the SCAR platform provides no QD points, we developed the Kinetic Rear QD Point (KRQP). Our reduced profile Rear QD point attaches in minutes with no disassembly of the rifle. It can be installed on either side of the rifle, and tightly hugs the rear lower HK style factory attachment loop. This is the ideal sling mounting point for those who prefer utilizing a single point QD mounted Sling, but works equally well for those who wish to run a two point sling off the rear of the receiver.  Like our front FAQP, the Rear QD point is rotation limited and keeps a factory OEM look to your SCAR.
