The third annual Pyramyd Air Cup is scheduled for September 9 through 11 at the Tusco Rifle Club in New Philadelphia, OH.
The Cup routinely draws amateur and competitive airgun shooters from all over the world, and features lively competition for top spots in field target shooting, the fast-draw GunSlynger event, and the PayDay Challenge.
“This year’s competition promises to be our most sensational yet, as we expect to introduce even more people to the exciting sport of airgunning, in addition to accommodating some of the best competitive airgun shooters around through provocative and challenging courses of fire,” says Pyramyd Air CEO, Joshua Ungier. “All participants, regardless of whether they’re amateur or professional, are invited to compete for top spots in the exciting courses we’ve created,” he said.
2016 Pyramyd Air Cup Events:
- Field Target: Spanning over the course of the entire weekend, the Field Target Competition will feature Open, Hunter and WFTF shooting classes. This competition is considered a Grand Prix event and scores will count towards 2016 AAFTA Grand Prix scoring.
- GunSlynger: This fast-draw competition combines speed and accuracy where competitors must knock down the designated targets at varying distances in the shortest time possible. Top cash prizes available.
- PayDay Challenge: Targets are placed at 15, 25 and 40 yards, for both benched and offhand shooting positions. The winner earns $200.
