Montana USA – -(Ammoland.com)- Harvey Hollandsworth, a good friend of both the Montana Shooting Sports Association and the National Rifle Association, passed away on Thursday, September 21st 2017.

From his obituary:

“Harvey was born with the gift of gab on April 30, 1937 to Esther and Glenn Hollandsworth of Brady, Montana. He lived, farmed, ranched, worshipped, volunteered, hoarded and died in the same community for 80 years. Harvey served on the Chouteau County Sheriff’s Department and Knees Volunteer Fire Department for numerous decades, and he was a 32nd degree Scottish rite mason.

He was an avid history and movie buff, a staunch Montana State University Alumni and a firearm aficionado.

Harvey is survived by his wife of nearly 53 years, Marcia; his #1 daughter Kimberly of Brady, MT; his #1 son Heath and wife Kari; grandchildren Karsyn and Harrison, of Amarillo, TX; and countless family and friends too numerous to name.”

Living in Brady, Montana, north of Great Falls, Harvey served on the Montana Shooting Sports Association Board of Directors for a decade and was a longtime member and supporter of the NRA and the Weapons Collectors Society of Montana.

Harvey was a firm advocate of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and could always be counted on to make the trek to Helena during legislative sessions to speak in favor of MSSA and NRA-supported bills before the Legislature.

We will miss Harvey.
