ANOKA, Minnesota-(Ammoland.com)- Federal Premium is proud to have secured a significant ammunition contract with the Swedish Police Authority, Danish National Police and Norwegian Police. These forces have committed to a five-year contract beginning in 2018 for the delivery of 223 Rem./5.56x45mm Tactical Bonded and 308 Win. Tactical Bonded Tip ammunition for use in all duty rifles.

“Police in Norway, Sweden and Denmark will now be relying on Federal Premium in their duty rifles to keep their residents safe and protected,” said Federal Premium President Jason Vanderbrink. “We’re extremely proud of this important contract. As far as I know hunting with rifles and shotguns is still legal in those countries and owners of those firearms can purchase ammo for their guns.
ALSO, I think suppressors are legal OVER THE COUNTER for hunting rifles and may be MANDATORY AS THEY ARE in great Britain.
Someone who knows for sure PLEASE chime in!

Hey Federal, how about the citizens of Sweden, Denmark and Norway? Will they too be relying on Federal ammunition in their rifles and handguns? No? Why not? Oh, that’s right, they’re not allowed to enjoy freedom the same way the government’s are now are they. You know, I understand that we all need to make money but does Federal really NEED to take money from people who have thoroughly subjugated their populace? Do you REALLY need that money that bad? Who are the only people They could use that ammunition against? That’s right, their citizenry. Why would you support that?… Read more »

So Bill, according to you, police NOWHERE should be able to use ARs and Sniper Rifles because they COULD potentially be fired at law abiding gun owners and other law abiding citizens or to subjugate the citizens? Citizens of Sweden, Denmark and Norway DO NOT LIVE IN DICTATORSHIPS!
As for using 5.56 AND .308 ammo the police in Sweden, Denmark and Norway ALREADY can get military ammo from THEIR MILITARIES AND SUPPLIERS ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! Police should ONLY be allowed FMJ ammo in ALL law enforcement situations?

You guys are bunch of one sided alpha hotels. When is the last time one of you cry babies shot ammo made by Aguila, Wolf, Norma, Seller & Bellot, or some of the Winchester of recent ( foreign) manufacture?? You guys sound like a bunch of whining, agenda driven snowflakes. You complain when it suites you, but never when it’s on sale.
