I want a Henry shooters chest, do you have any left?

gcm

I do love Henry Rifles, no doubt about it, but for me, I have AR’S, shotguns, and a ton of pistols to clean, and the cleaning bench I chose, also has a lift out tray, numerous spaces for all the rags, cleaners, tools for cleaning, and anything else you want to put on it with room to spare, but there is one thing it don’t have, Dovetails, lol, sorry but it does everything I need it to do, and it has the vice at both ends to lock your weapon in place. At first I did think it was rather… Read more »

What kind do you have my friend?

spinning heel

To those of you whom are “SHOCKED” at the price. Do any of you have any idea how long it takes to build one? The corners are dovetailed, drawer has quality slides, quality hardware, felt lined top and most likely the inside too. Stained and clear coated. Most likely, you complainers don’t even know what a dovetail joint is, and how long they take to make, let alone how to make one. Subtract retail mark-up, cost of materials, and break the remainder down into an hourly wage. I’d bet none of you would work for that.

A c&c machine can cut dovetails very quickly.

Zackley ! No price shown, so you KNOW it’s overpriced. Hand cut dovetails take a LONG time, the ones used here for the entire box, maybe 3 minutes. Total time for ALL of the wood parts for the entire build, you are talking 10 minutes on modern computer controlled equipment. The hardware, bought in high quantity, are also low price. Materials to build the box you “might” have $100.00 to $150.00, add assembly and finish another $50.00. So $200.00 to $250.00 would be reasonable, uhhh $380, NO ! Typical high priced Henry stuff. Nice guns and boxes, but way overpriced,… Read more »

Love my Henry rifles, I’ve owned three one time or another, could’t agree more – to damn expensive.

Lyle

I looked up this chest on the net and I understand why this article didn’t list the price of this item.
They obviously were worried someone would soil themselves or suffer a cardiac arrest after seeing a price of $379.00 listed. That said, I have to go shower and dispose of my underwear!

Douglas Griffin

According to henrypride.com, they are $379.99. Unfortunately they are SOLD OUT. You can sign up to be notified when they are back in stock.

Edw J Keuer

I too noticed this and see that the Henry website has no information on this item…what gives?

seemann2

I’m interested in the Henry Shooter’s Chest but you did NOT give an address where to make a purchase or even an inquiry.
Is this a guessing game or are these Chests really not available at any price since there is no cost listed either?
Sincerely,
jh
