USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- In 2017 we introduced the WESN Micro Blade to the world — and we were blown away by the massive response. We launched on Kickstarter and received 1800% backing. Very quickly, we realized that there was interest in what we were trying to do. That first campaign was a crash course in creating a product, and we certainly earned some of our stripes the hard way. With those lessons under our belt, we’re coming back to Kickstarter to offer our 10,000+ customers a new, exciting product that we couldn’t be more proud of: the WESN Allman.

We received many requests for a full-size knife. With such an obvious interest in a full-size WESN, we went to the drawing board to see what we could come up with. Design after design, prototype after prototype, we honed in on what ended up becoming the WESN Allman. We think it’s got the perfect design made from the best materials — and we’re pretty confident you’ll feel the same way.

We started with the idea of what we needed out of a full-size knife. What would get the job done? What were people needing out of their knives? The best way to create something beautiful is to start with functionality, and so while designing the Allman, we worked tirelessly to meld unique, striking design with hard-working functionality.

The Allman is manual-open with a flipper tab for ease. Its 3.5” handle and 2.75” blade combine to create a compact knife that fits comfortably in your hand, and our perfectly-weighted, American-made SV35 steel blade opens beautifully with a ball-bearing pivot.

To give customers the fullest range of uses for this knife, the frame is available in both a titanium and G10 option. Both of these materials have passed the test of time, with each of them offering unique strengths: the sleek durability of titanium, and the functional comfort of G10. Whichever option you choose, the Allman’s milled pocket clip ensures that your knife will be by your side wherever you go while staying sleek and unobtrusive.

DESIGN:

Whether you choose the G10 or Titanium options, the Allman is ready for whatever you throw at it. We refused to sacrifice functionality for good looks. What we did instead was to get rid of anything unnecessary or superfluous, and to let the hard-working nature of the knife speak for itself. With both the frame lock and the liner lock, you can use the Allman in any situation with peace of mind, knowing your blade is firmly locked into place. Whether you want to use this knife as your casual all-purpose EDC, or if you want to put it hard to work as your hunting knife, the Allman’s G10 or Titanium options guarantee you’ll find the perfect fit. And with the S35VN steel blade (respected in both the industry and the field), you’ll know your blade is up to the task ahead of you.

About WESN

When I started making the WESN knife, I didn’t have any grand ideas of starting a “knife brand.” All I wanted was a knife that I myself would want to own—something reliable, practical, and made of the best materials. Plus, I wanted something worth every penny of the cost, and not a cent too expensive.

The story of how the WESN has come to be is long and unique—but the best part is that the story isn’t done yet. Visit: www.wesngoods.com

I totally lost interest when I went on their site and they want to sell you everything but what you went there for and never did find the price of the knife.

steve Pirie

you missed the part that says they are not out for sale yet..

We will have prices listed when we launch the campaign. But we made an adjustment to the website which labels the price range.

Price? I’m always suspicious when a review of a product doesn’t include the price, and usually it’s because it’s not what I’d consider affordable or reasonable. Caveat Emptor.

im always suspicious of comments made without checking any facts first.. i followed the link to view smaller knife.. it was only $50.. so maybe $100 to $150 for the bigger.. not bad for the great materials..
