U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- Yesterday, Governor Jared Polis signed the so-called “Vote Without Fear Act,” House Bill 22-1086.  Having only sat on his desk for a handful of days, Governor Polis couldn’t wait to put his pen to paper and further restrict the right to self-defense of his constituents.

House Bill 22-1086 “The Vote Without Fear Act,” bans the open carry of a firearm at voting locations in the Centennial State.  This measure prohibits you from exercising one of our constitutional rights while engaging in another.  It’s unfortunate that it is a serious and deeply-held belief by anti-gun legislators that the Second Amendment is a lesser right.

Law-abiding gun owners have the right to self-defense and are provided with options that fit their needs.  Stay-tuned to NRA-ILA Alerts for more information and updates.

Seems ironic now. That the Movie ‘Red Dawn’ was based in Colorado. That never needed some ‘Wolverines’ more than it does now.

Florida bans conceal carry at voting places.

Might as well get used to the fact, that libs are moving into every red state, as fast as possible, trying to turn every state in the union, blue. The valley I live in, is the fastest growing county in the state of Montana. People with big bucks are moving here in droves. They sell their homes in Cali and New Yawk, giving them plenty of money to come here, pay cash for a home, buy a new 4×4, etc. Meanwhile, those of us natives, can barely afford rent, because of such a huge influx of big buck people. We’re… Read more »

I’m sure the “New and Improved!” Black Panthers or BLM will be fine carrying clubs to intimate “some” voters.

Yes, it’s a stupid law, however it’s basis is to PANDER to the democrat base here in CO. Make them feel good about keeping Polis and the others in power.

“the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”.
Are you afraid of a boomer Republican carrying is gonna plug you full of lead, lol?! I’m a Coloradoan who’s sick of the Californication of the left libtards(in your words) making this a woke, crime ridden, welfare state.

Stephan

Can they do CONCEALED carry ?

If so, I don’t see a big issue. ONLY open carry restricted ?

But, these Kalifornia libs shud not be allowed to vote when they flee Kali/sarc

Perhaps it is time to propose legislation that prohibits locating a polling place within 1000” of any gun owners residence or private property. Also prohibit political speech by anyone within 1000’ of a concealed carrier, with exception for anyone carrying a firearm. Be sure to make penalties extremely steep since it is so “easy” to know whether anyone is carrying (\sarc – concealed-means-concealed). Also “easy” to know what qualifies as political speech since these days everything is.
