Virginia Beach Flooring Crew Defends Themselves in Justified Shooting

In a clear-cut case of self-defense, a Virginia Beach flooring company, The Floor Doctor, was forced to take decisive action during a confrontation at the Newpointe Condominiums on the morning of October 13th, 2023. This incident is a textbook example of why the Second Amendment matters – regular folks protecting themselves when the chips are down.

Let’s cut through the noise. The Floor Doctor crew was doing their day’s work, laying down hardwood floors in a condo on Pillar Court. But, as fate would have it, a downstairs neighbor wasn’t too pleased with the ruckus.

She calls the cops at around 8:30 a.m., complaining about the noise. In a display of common sense, the police told her they wouldn’t stop the crew because they were working within reasonable hours.

But here’s where things go south. The woman, clearly not satisfied with the police response, decides to take matters into her own hands. After the cops left, she threatened to call someone else. An hour later, some guy shows up and starts assaulting one of The Floor Doctor’s crew. Now, this is where the Second Amendment comes into play. The assailant pulls a gun, and in a life-or-death situation, one of the contractors, lawfully carrying a firearm, steps up.

The contractor, in a move worthy of praise, warns the aggressor to drop the gun. But the assailant doesn’t comply. What happens next? The contractor, in self-defense, fires his weapon. The crew then did the right thing: they called for help and stayed on the scene. Both men involved were questioned by the police, but let’s not overlook the fact that no charges were filed – a nod to the legitimacy of the contractor’s actions.

Now, let’s talk about the aftermath. This isn’t some action movie – real people got hurt, and real people are dealing with the consequences. The man who got shot is in critical condition, and the contractor who defended himself and his colleagues is likely wrestling with the weight of that moment. It’s a sobering reminder that the right to bear arms isn’t just some abstract concept; it’s about protecting lives in the real world.

The owner of The Floor Doctor hit the nail on the head when he said the woman who caused the whole fiasco should face the music.

From Wavy.com:

“If the lady never would have called for them to come out, none of this would have ever happened, and I truly believe charges should be filed on her,” the man said. “One of my guys is having problems sleeping and he’s a grown man. When you have to go through that and you have to determine if it’s your life or their life, why am I in this situation and then you have to shoot somebody, it’s a lot on my guys. I feel so bad for them.”

Her reckless decision to escalate the situation put lives in danger. This incident underscores the importance of responsible gun ownership and the right to defend oneself. In a world where danger can appear unexpectedly, being prepared and equipped to protect oneself and others isn’t just a right; it’s a necessity.

The police are still piecing together this incident, but one thing’s clear: The Floor Doctor crew’s actions stand as a powerful testament to the value of the Second Amendment. It’s a stark reminder that sometimes, the only thing stopping a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

If the outcome was reversed, if the guy the woman called shot and killed the contractor, wouldn’t this be a murder for hire situation, and wouldn’t she be prosecuted? We periodically hear about stings where people are caught and prosecuted for attempting to hire a hit man. This woman should be facing charges.

i noticed they didn’t mention the demographics of the lady and assailant, nor did they post pictures in the article from wavy.com. leads me to surmise that that would not fit the narrative of the media industrial complex and anti-gun crowd.
the woman should be criminally charged and i would sue her civilly for intentional infliction of emotional damages.

Gonna go out in a limb here and identify the woman…bet her name was Karen, wasn’t it?

And this happened on Friday the 13th. There’s something about that, just as there is to the full moon, that brings out the crazy in people. My sister is a retired R.N., that spent her career in nursing homes, and she has so many stories of the inmates(I mean, clients. Must be politicaly correct… 🙂 )from Friday the 13th and the full moon, that after a decade or so, she refused to work any of those shifts any more. Here’s hoping that somebody sees fit to file some serious charges against this crazy lady. Which OFC will not happen. Women… Read more »

Why were charges not filed against the guy that the woman called and who was shot by the contractor, as well as the woman who called him?
